Gigi Hadid And Joe Jonas Double Date With Taylor Swift And Calvin Harris
Are they or aren’t they? Fans have been wondering if Gigi Hadid and Joe Jonas are a couple or just friends. The attractive stars have been spotted all around Los Angeles lately. It also doesn’t help the fact when reports claim that Gigi and Joe often look cozy when spotted together.
Joe, 25, and Gigi, 20, were last spotted holding hands in New York City last week. They were most recently seen hugging in Los Angeles this past Saturday, sparking dating rumors once again. Now, it looks like the rumored couple also got some new cute pets. Joe was seen holding a puppy, while Gigi was playing with an adorable kitten.
According to a PopSugar report, Jonas and Hadid had a double date with Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris over the weekend. The lunch took place in Los Angeles, after Swift’s epic baby shower for BFF Jaime King. Some of Swift’s other friends later joined the couples.
How awkward. Taylor Swift and Joe Jonas briefly dated back in 2008. It was only for a few months, but it’s still awkward to go on a double date with your ex-boyfriend, nonetheless.
An insider told Closer magazine that not all is peachy keen with Taylor and Gigi. She thinks that Gigi dating Joe is the “ultimate betrayal.” Could there already be some “Bad Blood” between them?
“Things have been tense with Taylor and Gigi since she started hanging out with Joe. Gigi’s really fallen for him but Taylor’s branded their reported romance as the ‘ultimate betrayal.’ Gigi has begged Taylor not to cut her off from her inner circle and insists Joe is sorry for the way he treated her all those years ago. They’ve spoken about it but Taylor feels uncomfortable about the whole thing.”
The insider also added that Taylor “spends a lot of time with Gigi and doesn’t want to see Joe all the time …She’s happy with Calvin but it’s always a sore point when Joe is mentioned. She doesn’t want to have a fall-out with Gigi but it’s a far from ideal situation.”
Most recently, Joe and Gigi were seen having lunch at Il Pastaio in Beverly Hills on Monday. Gigi was spotted with the cute little kitten once again. The hot new couple were also seen with Gigi’s father, Mohamed Hadid. Sounds like it’s serious. An insider confirmed to E! Online that Joe and Gigi are in fact dating.
“They never really stopped caring about each other. Things are going really well for them.”
Another source told the celebrity news site last week that Hadid and Jonas were just starting a romantic relationship. It sounds like the pair is taking it slow at the moment. After all, Hadid just split from Australian singer Cody Simpson back in May. Jonas’ last relationship was with model Blanda Eggenschwiler, which ended last summer. Just because Jonas is ready to embark on a new relationship doesn’t mean Hadid is ready yet.
“Gigi and Joe are hanging out again romantically. They are taking things light and just enjoying each other’s friendship.”
