Is Wiz Khalifa in trouble with the law again? Well, sort of. The rapper pleaded guilty after his May, 2014, marijuana possession arrest. Wiz was trying to board an airplane with.5 grams of marijuana at the El Paso International Airport. Sounds like he wanted to change the meaning behind the infamous “mile-high club.”
It looks like Wiz Khalifa, 27, is in the clear, though, with his case. The ex-husband of model Amber Rose only had to pay a $500 fine . Wiz was able to sort out a deal in his marijuana possession case. He’s only been charged for the misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia.
Khalifa, whose real name is Cameron Thomaz, did not make an appearance in court to enter his plea, according to E! Online . It looks like Khalifa could find himself in some more legal trouble. The “Work Hard, Play Hard” rapper took a selfie of himself while he was in jail.
He uploaded the photo to his Instagram account. Wiz captioned the photo: “Jail selfie.” Fans quickly found out about Wiz’s infamous jail selfie and started with the trending topic: “Free Trap Wiz.”
Did Khalifa get in trouble for taking a selfie in jail? Not necessarily. According to a TMZ report, the rapper also narrowly escaped from the jail selfie case . News of Khalifa’s arrest and selfie trended on social media, which prompted an internal investigation. Authorities are not too fond of the idea.
Wiz explained the incident during his interview with Sway in the Morning .
“[The officer] was p***ed. ‘Cause I was like, ‘Yo, can I get that phone, man? I really need to call my wife. I gotta tell her what happened. And he gave me the phone, and I was like ‘Selfie!’ “
Wiz Khalifa also doesn’t care about his recent arrest. He recently shared a video of himself smoking a joint and driving at the same time. Wiz shared the short clip with his fans on Instagram . You can check out the video for yourself at the source.

The rapper is currently on the Boys of Zummer Tour with Fall Out Boy. He’s set to perform in Akron, Ohio, on Wednesday, June 17. Both Wiz and Fall Out Boy have said that they love the diversity in their tour.
“Just in the first few shows we’ve played, we’ve seen fans of ours and fans of Wiz willing to give other kinds of music a shot,” says Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz, during a recent telephone conference. “I know for sure when I went to shows 15 years ago, there was a lot less of that. I wish I could have went to a show that had both rap and rock.”
Wiz Khalifa explained how he got to tour with the rock band, whose album, American Beauty/American Psycho, is No. 13 on in the iTunes Charts.
“It was a joint effort where I wanted to go on tour with a rock and roll group. It was more or less Fall Out Boy accepting it and saying, ‘We want to do it as well’.”
Wiz Khalifa also collaborated with Fall Out Boy on their hit single, “Uma Thurman.” Check out the new version below.
