Bravo Star Tamra Barney Still Wants A Baby With Eddie Judge, Discusses Custody Battle Outcome

Bravo star Tamra Barney hasn’t written off the possibility of having another child quite yet.

During an interview with OK! Magazine on June 15, the Bravo star spoke about her desire to have a child, as well as her granddaughter Ava Ryan and the outcome of her custody battle.

“I know how weird is that, right?” the Bravo star told the magazine after it was noted that she was the one discussing expanding her family during season nine, and then, during season 10, became a grandmother for the first time.

On The Real Housewives of Orange County season nine, the Bravo star expressed interest in having a baby, but unfortunately, her husband, Eddie Judge, wasn’t on board. Months later, Barney learned that her oldest son, Ryan Vieth, was expecting his first child with fiance Sarah Rodriguez, who already had three children of her own.

“It’s the weirdest thing in the entire world. Ava Ryan is my son’s first kid. I had no idea that I’d be a grandma and she’s amazing and beautiful. I see her almost every single day, they now live in Orange County and are five minutes from me. It’s the most amazing thing in the entire world.”

As for her plans for her own child, the Bravo star said she still has the idea in her mind. However, while she previously considered getting pregnant, she now claims she’d likely be forced to hire someone to carry the child for her.

“We were with my husband Eddie’s grandma and she said ‘I just want one baby with you and Eddie’ and I said, ‘Talk to your grandson!’ I would probably have to hire a surrogate but I would do it in a heartbeat.”

Also during The Real Housewives of Orange County season nine, Barney went through a messy custody battle with her first husband, Simon Barney.

“Nobody won—I won the custody battle but nobody won because it was hurtful for me and my children.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, the Bravo star and her husband were recently at odds during filming on season 10, when Barney informed Judge she had offered to help financially support her son, Vieth, as well as his fiance. Upon hearing the news, Judge immediately shot down the idea, claiming Vieth was a grown man, and should not be getting help from his mother.
