Ellie Goulding Hits Make-up Free Trolls For Six In Her Little Black Dress
Ellie Goulding has smashed her haters out of the ball park just days after being subjected to a barrage of hateful comments on her Twitter and Instagram feeds. Ellie was bombarded with spiteful comments by internet trolls after she posted a make-up free selfie online. Gorgeous Ellie responded in the best possible way by showing up to a London fashion party positively glowing. Ellie looked absolutely stunning in her little black dress.
Ellie had been working on her new album in the studio with collaborator Diplo when she posted her selfie. Ellie put on a kissing pout and commented that she was having a make-up and alcohol free week whilst being an “absolute recluse” in the studio.

Many of Ellie’s fans were complimentary of her natural beauty as she showed off her freckles and a healthy glow after her recent L.A vacation with boyfriend Dougie Poynter. Ellie, who has previously admitted to being less than confident about her appearance, was trolled with comments calling her ugly and suggesting that she “put on some make-up.” Ellie hit back on Twitter, saying that she would keep posting make-up free photo’s.

Ellie also suggested that if people followed her Instagram account “just to make weird comments like ‘put some make-up on’ please unfollow cos that’s not really my vibe.”

If that wasn’t enough to send the trolls scurrying back under the bridge Ellie hit back in the best possible way on Saturday when she turned up at a London fashion party in a little black dress. At the party 28-year-old fitness fanatic Ellie showed off her long tanned legs in a one-shouldered black dress with a fringed hemline. Ellie emphasised her toned legs by completing her outfit with a pair of gold strappy stiletto heel sandals.
Ellie later posted a shot of herself arriving at the party and captioned it “don’t fall, don’t fall” presumably because she was feeling less than confident in her heels.

Ellie’s alcohol and make-up free week coupled with gruelling workouts and her recent vacation have left the “Burn” singer looking trim, toned and glowing with health.
It is perhaps ironic that Goulding has had to speak out over people judging her on her looks. Ellie recently joined singer Ariana Grande to slam the misogyny within the music industry. Both Goulding and Grande have revealed that they are fed up with being defined in terms of their looks or by who they have or have not dated.
