Katie Holmes Has A New Living Arrangement – Just Ask Jamie Foxx
Although Katie Holmes has denied in the past, it seems Ms. Holmes is dating Jamie Foxx and has been for sometime. Katie has apparently been spending nights with Mr. Foxx, according to sources close to the situation, and the evenings spent together have left Ms. Holmes appearing happy and relaxed.
“Katie is at Jamie’s house a few nights a week,” a source reportedly said. “And she couldn’t look happier when she drives away in the morning.”
While sources report that Katie and Jamie have been secretly involved for quite some time, it appears that both Ms. Holmes and Mr. Foxx have gone to great lengths to keep their relationship from drawing attention from the media and to keep it away from the public eye. Some sources cite the motivation for keeping their relationship private is an act of respect for Katie’s ex-husband, Tom Cruise. Foxx and Cruise had been close friends before the divorce and it has even been suggested that relations between Ms. Holmes and Jamie may have contributed to the Cruise-Holmes divorce.
Others contend that the secrecy has more to do with young Suri Cruise and that reasoning does seem more plausible than attributing the privacy of Katie and Jamie to some archaic respect for Mr. Cruise. Sources close to Katie have said that nothing is more important to Ms. Holmes than daughter Suri and that Katie is devoted to giving Suri the best possible upbringing. To that end, Ms. Holmes keeps her romantic relationships away from her daughter’s impressionable eyes.
“Suri is Katie’s top priority, which Jamie totally respects,” one source reports. “So they are content to wait for the right time to go public.”
When asked about the relationship, Jamie Foxx still continues to deny rumors that there is anything between Katie Holmes and himself other than friendship.
“Come on, you guys have been trying to get that to stick for three years,” he said. “Good stories, I guess.”
It seems there are far too many witnesses to the romance, eager to out what has been termed “the worst-kept secret in Hollywood. When Ms. Holmes returned from the Met Gala in New York in May, another source reported that Katie’s first call was to Jamie.
“She called him the minute she got off her plane and said she loved him. She said she loved him. She always gushes about how amazing he is and the joy he bring into the world.”
Stepping forward to squash rumors of love and romance, Ms. Holmes’ representative reportedly denied the truth of all of these rumors.
“Katie is not dating anyone. She’s not gushing about anyone. These stories are untrue.”
