Zayn Malik Doesn’t Want To Be ‘A Normal 22-Year-Old,’ He Wants To Be The Next Kanye West

Zayn Malik left One Direction only a few months ago for a solo career. Now it looks like he’s already headed in a new direction. Reports are claiming that Zayn wants to start his own clothing line. In fact, he wants to become the next Kanye West.

A trustworthy One Direction source broke the news to the Sun over the weekend. According to the alleged insider, Malik has been keeping quiet about his new venture. It appears that Malik has always had a passion for fashion.

“Zayn has always been very creative and introverted. He tried out various looks and styles during his time in One Direction, which led to interest from top fashion houses.”

Now Malik is hoping to hear from one of those top fashion houses, as previously reported via the Inquisitr. Just because he’s headed into the fashion scene doesn’t mean he’s giving up on his solo career just yet. Malik’s fans can relax and enjoy the news about his new venture.

“Music will always be his priority but fashion could be more than just a side project. The long term aim could be to potentially earn a big-money endorsement deal with a huge fashion brand.”

Malik has a few tricks up his sleeve. The source also hinted that the former 1D singer wants to try his hand at acting. Malik is not starting out on the silver screen. The insider hinted that Malik is going to star in The Old Vic’s 24 Hour Play series this fall.

“Everyone expects Zayn to go a certain way now he has quit 1D but his people are already talking with organizers of the 24 Hour Plays to get him involved. They want him to make a cameo, which won’t require much acting but will see him in a grown-up light among some great A-list company. They also want to maintain his profile in America.”

It sounds like Zayn Malik wants to be the Jack of all trades. Not only is he working on his rumored solo album, but he’s also trying to jumpstart his fashion and acting careers. It’s no wonder why Zayn is trying different avenues since rapper Mic Righteous announced on his Facebook page that the singer can’t officially release music for the next two years.

It’s also the reason why Malik’s songs have been mysteriously leaking lately. The singer’s cover of “No Type” by Rae Sremmurd just leaked on Monday afternoon. The British rapper uploaded Malik’s cover to Soundcloud to the delight of his fans.
