After months of anticipation and waiting, Brock Lesnar returned to WWE on Monday Night RAW after getting “indefinitely suspended” back in early April. Oddly enough, his return came at the blessing of those that actually suspended him in the first place — The Authority. Now, he has his target in sight, and it’s WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins.

Seth Rollins had been building himself up all night after winning at Money In The Bank on Sunday evening. He was now done with Dean Ambrose and moving on to whomever was next in line.

At the end of RAW , Triple H and Stephanie McMahon headed out to the ring and addressed the WWE Universe. They were ready to tell the world who Seth Rollins was going to face next, and he wasn’t scared at all.

Rollins went on and on about how he is every bit as good as anyone that chooses to stand before him and face him. At that point, Rollins got a bit cocky and even said that he was going to not only beat his next opponent, but embarrass him as well.

Triple H took the mic and gave a great promo with a lot of intensity. He built up Rollins some and detailed how as WWE Champion, he needs to be prepared for whatever and whoever may come his way.

At that point, Brock Lesnar’s music hit and the crowd in Cleveland popped huge as the “Beast Incarnate” and Paul Heyman walked out on the RAW stage.

The look on Seth Rollins’ face was priceless as he watched the duo walk slowly down the aisle and get into the ring. Lesnar got in the center of the ring and he went face-to-face with Rollins, but that didn’t last long.

Rollins very slowly back away from Lesnar, who kept following him closer. Eventually, Rollins was able to escape from the ring and back down the aisle toward the stage. He looked back toward the ring, and Lesnar just stared out at the WWE Champion.

Now, their match for the title is set to happen at WWE Battleground in five weeks, which will take place on Sunday, July 20.

Well, it looks like the “major angle” for the return of Brock Lesnar has begun, as he came back to WWE at the hand of those that suspended him, The Authority. It’s kind of strange, as Triple H and Stephanie McMahon kind of turned on Seth Rollins on RAW, so it’s going to be interesting to see how this advances next week.
