WWE Rumors: Is Brock Lesnar Going To Be On ‘Raw’ Tonight — Confirmation On His Status In Cleveland
WWE is heading to Cleveland tonight for Monday Night Raw, and all of the hype should be on what happened at Money in the Bank last night, but it isn’t. No, all the focus is on one wrestler who hasn’t been seen on WWE television in over two months — Brock Lesnar. Rumors have it that he will show up tonight, and now it seems like his official status is known.
The following news could be considered a spoiler, so if you don’t want to know what may happen, stop reading now.
According to WrestleZone, the “Beast Incarnate” himself has arrived in Cleveland today and is ready for Monday Night Raw tonight. It takes place from the Quicken Loans Arena (The Q), and it appears as if Lesnar is on his way there or already backstage.
Now, the report doesn’t state that Paul Heyman is in Cleveland, but it doesn’t mean he won’t be there. He simply may not have arrived yet or could have shown up the night before.
It would be odd for Lesnar to be there, but not Heyman, but anything is possible.
If Lesnar does indeed appear on Raw tonight, since he’s in Cleveland and all, the “major angle” being rumored to happen in WWE will likely begin. There’s no telling what that angle will be, but it is probably going to have something to do with Seth Rollins.
Don’t forget that Rollins is the one who took the WWE World Heavyweight Title away from Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 31. That happened even though Lesnar was not pinned for it, but Roman Reigns was.
Well, Roman Reigns is moving onto a program with Bray Wyatt as evidenced by what happened last night at the pay-per-view. That leaves Rollins, who appears done with Dean Ambrose, in the path of Lesnar.
Some thought that this feud would be held over for SummerSlam, but WWE appears to be going with it for Battleground next month. On another note, the program could continue well through the rest of the summer and culminate overall at SummerSlam.
Earlier today, WWE did add more dates for Brock Lesnar to appear at, and they go well into August.
- June 22 Raw in Indianapolis
- July 4 in Tokyo
- July 6 RAW in Chicago
- July 13 RAW in Atlanta
- July 19 WWE Battleground in St. Louis
- July 20 RAW in Kansas City
- August 3 RAW in San Jose
- August 17 RAW in Minneapolis
For those anxiously awaiting the return of Brock Lesnar to WWE television, the rumors appear to be coming true. He is indeed in Cleveland and will very likely be on Monday Night Raw this evening, but beware the swerve.
