Tom Cruise’s Crush: Dating Rumors Pop Back Up After Actor Gets Cozy With Assistant On Set

Tom Cruise’s crush on his assistant has people talking once again.

Star Pulse reported on Sunday that Emily, his assistant from Mission Impossible 5 and his new film project, is rumored to be dating the actor. Tom Cruise’s love life has made news before. In recent months, he was also rumored to be dating Lindsay Lohan, but those rumors were denied.

This is not the first time that the focus has turned to Tom Cruise and his assistant. Back in November, a report in Us Weekly popped up that Cruise was dating the woman, but his representative quickly denied the report, according to the Spread It. The rep said, “The story is completely false, Us Weekly knew it was [untrue] when they wrote it but nevertheless still published it.”

Why is this story popping up again now? Cruise and his assistant, Emily, have been seen together on the set of Mena, which is the project he is currently filming. Daily Mail shared photos of Tom Cruise talking to his assistant on set, and these new photos started up this latest batch of rumors.

Apparently, the pair have been seen in Georgia, and they have been a bit more cozy with each other during their downtime. One Georgia local spoke the media about the pair.

“They’ve got undeniable chemistry. Everyone in town has noticed it. Tom and Emily leave toward the end of filming, like they want to be alone. He definitely trusts her. He only leaves her side long enough to shoot a scene and then he’s right back.”

Why is everyone so interested in Tom and Emily? It could be her looks. She looks very much like Katie Holmes. Her age may also be a factor. She is 22 years old, which is the same age as his daughter with Nicole Kidman, Bella.

Are the pair an item? On the other hand, are these rumors once again just that – only rumor and speculation? It is possible that Tom is dating Emily, but until the couple comes out publicly to say something – it is better to keep Tom in the single column.

Rumors have surrounded Katie Holmes and her relationship status in recent months too. Tabloids have tied her to Jamie Foxx, but Gossip Cop released a new report on Sunday to reiterate that Katie and Jamie are not dating each other.

In the latest set of rumors about the pair, it was reported that Katie spent half her week at his home each week. Jamie Foxx has denied that he is dating Holmes to the media, and he confirmed it again in an interview with Nancy O’Dell for Entertainment Tonight.

Tom Cruise does have a busy summer plain. Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation is set for release this summer, and he did face many challenges during the production of this film. In fact, the actor decided to take on a challenge on his own. He filmed an underwater stunt unlike anything he has done before in his previous films.

Cruise shared about this daring stunt in an interview with USA Today, according to Screen Crush.

“We wanted to create a suspense underwater sequence with cuts. So doing that sequence was really interesting. We’re underwater and we’re doing breath-holds of 6 to 6 ½ minutes. So I was doing all my training with the other stuff (on-set). It was very taxing stuff.”

Christopher McQuarrie, the director of the film, revealed in his own interview, that he included the stunt in the film because he wanted to “leave his mark on the franchise.”

Tom Cruise is not only busy with his acting career. He helped out a bit at NASA too. The actor visited the NASA offices at one point, and he made a comment about the NASA website to the man in charge at the time. He offered to send over one of his own tech guys to help them redesign the website and make it more appealing to visitors, according to cNet.

Sean O’Keefe revealed Cruise’s offer in a video released last month.

“So I took him up on the offer, and it changed the appearance of that website in a way that made it inviting, interesting. Folks wanted to participate — you know, here it is, it jumps out at you. Every time I encounter situations like this of ‘how do you make the information available,’ I gotta thank Tom Cruise for his blinding flash of the obvious.”
