Lauren Goodger Is Back With Her Ex-Boyfriend And Posting Pics

Lauren Goodger is over the Twitter drama with Mark Wright and is back together with ex-boyfriend, Jake McLean.

Goodger, a popular former star of the U.K. hit reality TV show, The Only Way is Essex, has been embroiled in a social media war with her newly-engaged ex-boyfriend, Mark Wright. But she has taken to social media herself to show that she has cheerfully moved on with her love life.

Via Twitter and Instagram, Goodger makes clear that she is in a romantic relationship with former boyfriend, Jake MacLean, and includes heart emoticons and a reference to a “surprise romantic getaway.”

Lauren refers to MacLean as her “special boy” and although his face is covered, he is recognizable via his tattoos.

Now Magazine reports that a source close to Goodger confirms their relationship.

“Lauren and Jake have been back together for a few weeks now. They have been on date nights in London and Essex, and things were heating up so much they decided to go on a last minute holiday.”‘

Goodger and MacLean have had a tumultuous and complicated relationship.

As explained by the Mirror, during an episode of Celebrity Big Brother last year, Lauren admitted she was still in love with Jake and he lashed out against her on Twitter, calling Goodger a “tramp” and shared a revealing bedroom picture of the former TOWIE star.

“Ahhhh happy birthday to the biggest let down I no @LaurenGoodger,” Jake wrote along side the semi-naked snap. “Keep it up girl your doing great #tramp.”

The past few weeks have been a social media confusion as Goodger’s ex-boyfriend, Mark Wright, posted a long series of tweets accusing Lauren of using her newspaper column to harass him and his new wife.

Lauren Goodger’s publicist gave a lengthy statement to the Mirror denying that was the situation, and Lauren herself has flatly denied Wright’s claims.

Lauren’s publicist stated that Goodger has never used her column to attack Wright in any way.

“Lauren has privately been in a relationship too and this unwanted attention surrounding her ex of many years ago is certainly not welcomed. We would like to clarify that Lauren is paid the same weekly fee for her column every week whether it mentions Mark or not, and she has given no other interviews on him – despite the numerous offers. She once again wishes them nothing but the best.”

Goodger also confirmed that she has never meant to specifically attack Wright in a recent column response to a tabloid story about her.

“The story claimed my posts show I haven’t moved on from past relationships – that’s ridiculous! As I’ve said before, lots of things I post can relate to most people’s relationships, not just mine!”

It is clear that these stars are trying to move forward with their professional and their personal lives.
