Gretchen Rossi Questions Tamra Judge’s ‘RHOC’ Christian Storyline, Makes Nice With Meghan King Edmonds
Although Gretchen Rossi is no longer on The Real Housewives of Orange County, her feud with Tamra Judge is still very much alive. During an interview with Christy Reports posted on Monday, Gretchen was asked for her opinion regarding Heather Dubrow’s recent comment that the current season is very real and that there are no fake and/or exaggerated storylines concocted for attention. In her response, Gretchen said that she never faked her storylines and then questioned Tamra’s storyline of being a born-again Christian.
Gretchen said that she was always real with the viewers.
“You know what, it’s funny that they are now claiming that this season is real because my whole thing is, are they saying that all the other seasons weren’t real? Because the truth is that I would probably say there’s a lot of girls out there that make up storylines every season and I happen to not be one of those people… So if they want to say that it’s real and honest this season, good for them but I would highly doubt it.”
Gretchen in particular called out Tamra for possibly faking her storyline. When asked if she’ll be watching Season 10, Gretchen mentioned the preview that shows Tamra being baptized.
“I don’t know yet. I think it will be interesting to see some of the things that they’re previewing like Tamra Barney [Judge] supposedly being baptized and a born again Christian. I find that very odd and very ironic but I am also a believer of God and I’m a Christian and if that’s true then more power to her but I would be very surprised if it’s an authentic story.”
On Wednesday, Gretchen Rossi wrote “the truth always comes out” in response to a fan who tweeted that upon watching reruns of the show, it’s apparent that Tamra Judge is “a LIAR and a s**t stirrer” and that Gretchen was right all along.
Gretchen also tweeted a message of thanks to her fans for showing her love.
“Wow, I’m not even on the show anymore and getting so much love from you guys. thank you so much for all the kind tweets saying you miss me, I love you all very much but I am happy and focused on my new projects!”
Gretchen isn’t the only former co-star to question Tamra’s baptism. In an interview with Perez Hilton in mid-May, Alexis Bellino, whom Tamra once ridiculed as “Jesus Jugs,” and Lydia McLaughlin also questioned Tamra‘s renewed commitment to the Christian faith.
Viewers actually saw a bit of Gretchen on the Season 10 premiere when a flashback was shown of her visiting Tamra in the plastic surgeon’s clinic after a breast augmentation surgery during Season 8. The flashback also showed Vicki Gunvalson talking to Tamra on the phone. Contrasted to that scene, none of Tamra’s Season 10 co-stars visited or spoke with her as she recovered from her latest breast augmentation surgery. Yet it seems that Tamra will have Vicki to lean on later on in the season. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Vicki wrote in her blog that she and Tamra mended their relationship.
While Gretchen Rossi clearly still has issues with Tamra Judge, she has no problems with new The Real Housewives of Orange County star Meghan King Edmonds. On Monday, in response to a viewer question, Meghan said the storyline that stuck out to her the most from previous seasons of the show was Gretchen dealing with fiance Jeff Beitzel’s illness. Unfortunately, Meghan referred to Jeff, who passed away during Gretchen’s time on the show, as “the old guy.” When Gretchen questioned her, Megan replied that she didn’t mean for the tweet to be hurtful and that it was a compliment. Gretchen accepted the explanation and the two made nice.
