It seems that buzz regarding Jenna Jameson’s Judaism conversion is actually true, as the former adult actress is making the change as a result of her engagement to Israeli diamond broker, Lior Bitton. Jameson had many fans wondering after a series of photos she posted via social media, and now it seems it’s all coming together.

E! Online shares that Jenna Jameson’s Judaism conversion apparently is the real deal. She’s been busy in the kitchen tackling traditional Jewish dishes, and she’s indicated to followers that she’s been working toward creating Shabbat dinners for the past six months. Jenna has also shared that she is working to learn Hebrew and she is hoping to head to Israel to visit soon.

Jameson’s Instagram followers seemed quite impressed by a photo she shared of her recent Shabbat meal. She touted that she made challah, Israeli salad, potato pancakes, and Chilean sea bass chraimeh. Several seemed supportive of welcoming her to the family, so to speak, and had many additional suggestions for her.

The former adult film star has been posting some tweets in Hebrew, and she did confirm to some followers that she is indeed moving away from Catholicism. What exactly is propelling Jenna Jameson’s Judaism conversion? According to the Jerusalem Post, an engagement to 41-year-old diamond businessman Lior Bitton is the catalyst.

While this big engagement might be propelling some serious changes for Jameson, there are signs that this one ultimately may not end up being entirely smooth sailing. As the Daily Beast details, Bitton has been in a bit of trouble in the past. He was arrested in 2010 and faced charges of insurance fraud.

The case alleged that Bitton reported that 20 diamonds were stolen from his courier and one diamond was stolen from his store. He collected $99,000 from his insurer, but then he was caught trying to sell the diamond in Israel that he had said was stolen from the store. He pleaded guilty in 2011 and faced five days in jail, three years of probation, financial restitution, and 90 days of home confinement.

Of course, as fans know, Jenna isn’t exactly squeaky-clean herself. In addition to her adult film days, she’s had bizarre interviews and rocky relationships, such as the one with ex, Tito Ortiz, that generated some wild headlines for her.
