‘Suits’ Season 5 Spoilers: Patrick J. Adams Talk Mike And Rachel, Sarah Lafferty Talks Donna And Harvey

While spoilers for the upcoming season of Suits have been largely kept under wraps, the first promotional image has been released concerning the new season. The photo features the first look at Mike Ross and Rachel Zane as they prepare for their roles in the upcoming season.

The photo shows Mike and Rachel in bed together and everything looks like it is working out for the newly engaged couple. Despite the importance of the photo and what can be gleaned from it, Patrick J. Adams recently revealed that Rachel and Mike’s relationship would not be a major plot line this season.

“We don’t deal much with that in this season, to be honest, which I think is good,” Adams explained to TV Fanatic.

Meanwhile, a storyline that the new season of Suits will be dealing with revolves around the drama between Louis, Donna, and Harvey. Last season saw major changes for Harvey with Donna leaving him to work with Louis, who now seems to have it all.

Despite Donna’s difficult decision to leave Harvey for what she thought may be a better working environment with Louis, Sarah Rafferty revealed to TV Fanatic that “Life is complicated for her.” Rafferty also stated that Donna will not find herself in a “rosy situation,” and Louis and Harvey are still “not playing nice to each other.”

There are also a few new additions to the cast as well. Christina Cole will appear as Dr. Paula Agard in season 5, according to the Venture Capital Post. Agard will be the newcomer willing to help Harvey after Donna’s departure.

The legal drama will also be adding John Pyper-Ferguson to its cast as Jack Soloff. Deadline is reports that Soloff will be the head of the Compensation Committee in the firm and will be dealing with Harvey and Louis’ rivalry.

However, despite losing Donna and dealing with the fact that he will now have to work with a former enemy, all hope is not lost for Harvey. Things can change quickly on Suits, and it might not be long before we find out if Harvey is able to repair his relationship with Donna. If he is able to work things out with her it will likely take a while, and it would also mean that he has to be willing to address some of his own shortcomings.

Season 5 of Suits in set to premiere June 24 on USA.
