Throwback Thursday: Kim Kardashian’s 2006 MySpace Page Had 856 Friends, Ray J In Top 8

Kim Kardashian’s MySpace profile has been dug up. Talk about a blast from the past. Kim’s MySpace profile will bring back nostalgia to the teens and young adults who used the once-popular social networking site. It was unearthed from Us Weekly’s vault without reason or explanation.

Kim Kardashian called herself “Princess Kimberly.” Her motto was, “I’m a PRINCESS and you’re not so there!” Kardashian’s last login on the site was on June 1, 2006, before her family’s reality show took off in 2007. To some fans, the famous Kardashian may or may not have changed when it comes to her looks or personality, but her following sure has.

Kim’s MySpace profile only had 72 comments. She also had only 856 friends on the social networking site. Now, Kim has 35.9 Instagram followers and 32.5 million Twitter users. Kim’s Top 8 is interesting, as it includes her infamous ex-boyfriend and sex tape co-star, Ray-J. Her profile hasn’t been updated since Kim was 25-years-old and dating the R&B singer at the time. This was also during the innocent Kim Kardashian times when she was just Paris Hilton’s sidekick, and her sex tape wasn’t released yet.

On her pink profile, designed by pimp-my-profile.com, Kim describes herself as a 5’3? straight Libra who doesn’t drink or smoke. She was also in a relationship at the time and just looking for new friends to meet. Kim also wanted to meet “God” and thinks of having children “someday.”kim_kardashian_myspace_2What a difference a few years make. Who knew that “Princess Kimberly” would suddenly become one of the most famous reality stars of our time?

Now, Kim Kardashian has settled a lawsuit with Ray J for allegedly leaking their sex tape without her consent. She’s no longer Paris Hilton’s sidekick. Kim is also married to Kanye West, 38, with a second child on the way. Kim has also become the queen of social media and mobile gaming. How does she do it?

“Social media works when you’re open, when you’re honest and people want to feel like they’re getting a little glimpse into your life. It’s not that I brand myself like I’m a celebrity. It’s just I’m living my life and sharing a part of my life with the world.”

Not only that, but Kim Kardashian has become a household name and selfie queen. She even named her book, Selfless, after her infamous selfies. Most people love to hate Kardashian, but she still has millions of fans who watch her every move. What are your thoughts on Kim Kardashian’s MySpace profile?
