Caitlyn’s doctor “did a great job,” according to Jenner, but critics of Dr. Harrison Lee claim he took Caitlyn Jenner’s face and “butchered” it. While these comments might come from those who oppose the LGBT movement, in the past, other plastic surgeons have warned that Jenner risked a “disfiguring” by going under the knife.
In a related report by the Inquisitr , Fallon Fox is the first openly transgender MMA fighter, but some critics claim it is unfair for a formerly male fighter to be fighting women.
Reports say it took Caitlyn’s doctor about 10 hours to complete the “feminization” process, which transformed Bruce into Caitlyn Jenner. Unfortunately, upon waking, the first thing Caitlyn did was experience a panic attack.
“It’s difficult to suddenly get the realization, I guess, that you’re getting fulfillment of what you’ve always wanted to have done,” said Dr. Gary Atler, who worked with Dr. Lee, according to E! News . “You know, long surgery, a lot of changes — so there was a little bit of a panic attack. But it could happen to anybody. It can happen to the housewife that gets a facelift, it can happen to a young girl who gets a breast implant.”
The $70,000 plastic surgery included a brow lift and reshaping the jaw bone. Caitlyn was so happy with the results that Dr. Harrison Lee posed for an Instagram photo.
Some have said that Caitlyn’s doctor did a good job based upon the photos released so far, but others on social media heartily disagree .
“The people who butchered # BruceJenner are almost criminal to me. I have no love for them. I feel sorry for Bruce Jenner.”
“Caitlyn Jenner looks butchered. HOW DARE YOU SAY SHE’S BEAUTIFUL NOW”
Dane Woodland, who is also looking forward to plastic surgery to be transformed physically into a female, says Caitlyn’s doctor did a good job but also claimed the photos in Vanity Fair are not representative of what all transgender people look like after surgery.
“I’d be curious to know how Caitlyn would have been accepted if she had turned out to be a way that we consider not to be feminine or womanly ,” Woodland said, according to CBC .
Earlier in the year, Dr. Yoel Shahar , who hasn’t treated Jenner, claimed that “[Caitlyn]’s lip augmentation looks unnatural. Lip augmentation in men requires a conservative amount of fillers to look natural, compared to lip augmentation in females.” Dr. Kathy Rumer, a reconstructive surgeon and aesthetician based in Philadelphia, said the undermining of the soft issue in the face can lead to skin death.
While Caitlyn Jenner has not mentioned any physical problems yet based upon the newest round of plastic surgery, in the past, Caitlyn had difficulty breathing, and Dr. Rumer said, “There can also be functional problems that lead to difficulty in breathing.”
Do you think Caitlyn’s doctor did a “great job” based upon the photos released so far?
