Minka Kelly Graduates From Culinary School: ‘Parenthood’ Actress Shares ‘Awesome’ Foodie Photos [Photos]
Minka Kelly graduated from a Los Angeles-area culinary school. And the actress, after spending six months cooking up all sorts of delights, termed it an “awesome” experience. Minka even posted a cornucopia of foodie-feast photos to prove it.
Kelly devoted six months to cooking with her classmates and learning from experts. And she even discovered new foods (hint: Salads can mean more than iceberg) as well as discovering new foods at the New School of Cooking in Culver City, California, reported ABC News.
For fans who stress that she’s abandoning her entertainment industry career, Minka indicated that graduating means an expansion of her hobby, not a chance to a different profession.
“That’s it! We did it! What an awesome experience these past 6 months have been. What shall the next hobby beeee….??? #whoshungry #hobbyist #culinaryschooldiaries”

Minka is famed for posting her culinary creations on her Instagram page, and she’s also talked about her fondness for cooking. The 34-year-old actress said she adores cooking.
“I like to cook, I love to bake. I love baking banana bread and pies and cakes and I love cooking lasagna and I like getting creative with salads. I like looking at cookbooks and getting inspired and going to classes, taking cooking classes.”

Minka also revealed that the cooking classes taught her about new skills as well as new foods, reported People.
Kelly now can concoct pasta and deal with a filet. As for the veggie food group?
“I remember a time when I thought the only thing to a salad was iceberg & ranch,” joked Minka.

As for her acting career, Kelly has enjoyed a variety of roles.
Minka charmed viewers on Parenthood in the challenging role of Gaby Moss, an Asperger’s specialist for the son of Kristina (Monica Potter) and Adam (Peter Krause), reported Entertainment Weekly.
Jason Katims, who worked with Kelly on Friday Night Lights, praised her acting skills and ability to display the tactics needed to work with a young person with Asperger’s, which is an autism spectrum disorder.
“On the one hand, she’s charming and easy-going, but she’s also quietly forceful, which is something this role requires. It’s a tough position to come in and tell anybody, ‘Hey, you’re not doing a good job with your kid.'”

Katims revealed that Minka accepted the Parenthood role immediately, saying yes as soon as she had read the script.
As the Inquisitr reported, Jacqueline Laurita, a former star of Real Housewives Of New Jersey, has discussed real world issues for children with autism and their parents.
Revealing that her son is a beautiful five-year-old child who has improved since his diagnosis, Jacqueline showed her heartbreak when she read the cruel comments of a bully online. And so, in addition to focusing on helping her son fulfill his potential through various types of therapy, the determined mother is speaking out against such bullies and setting the record straight about autism and misconceptions.
