Melissa Rivers To Host ‘Fashion Police’ Herself, Claims Report
Melissa Rivers reportedly wants to host Fashion Police herself, according to a new report.
Instead of finding another celebrity to fill her mother’s shoes on the once-popular celebrity fashion series, Radar Online reports that Melissa wants to help save the show herself.
According to the report, an inside source opened up about Melissa – expressing why she might be the most qualified person to become the next host of Fashion Police.
“Melissa is saying that she is going to host the show. No one understands the show more than she does and this is what her mother would want.”
Shortly after Joan Rivers died last September, Fashion Police fans and critics did not hesitate to wonder about the future of the hit E! celebrity fashion show.
Before long, it was announced that comedian Kathy Griffin would fill Joan Rivers’ shoes as the lead host of Fashion Police – confirming that the show would indeed move on without Joan.

However, Giuliana Rancic’s controversial comments about actress Zendaya’s hairstyle sparked a flame of controversy that grew bigger and bigger in a relatively short period of time.

Kelly Osbourne made headlines with her Twitter rant in response to the same comments made about her friend, Zendaya. The 30-year-old daughter of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne left the show behind followed shortly thereafter by new host Kathy Griffin herself.

In an interview with Hoda Kotb last month, Melissa Rivers opened up about the controversies and scandals that erupted on the set of Fashion Police during the aftermath of her mother’s death.
“I did everything I could do. We went back too fast. And it’s just like a family, when the matriarch dies; the sisters started fighting, and someone tried to married in—not a great match, live and learn. It was extremely frustrating because I had to keep my eye on the franchise and the legacy of it and not get involved in the personal.”
Even though Melissa Rivers worked as an executive producer for Fashion Police, she made it clear during the interview that the network had the final decision when it came to the show.
