Bethany Frankel has had her share of difficulties making friends on Real Housewives of New York City . With the show is currently in Season 7, Frankel’s friendship woes continue, especially in regards to her co-star Heather Thomson .
Frankel recently posted a blog article where she discussed her differences with Thomson in detail. “Well, I just wanted to chill and laugh, and I felt that Heather was on my jock again,” she stated. “We definitely have different styles when getting to know each other.”
Frankel’s blog post comes after fans witnessed her ongoing friendship troubles as she butted heads with Thomson during Dorinda Medley’s birthday outing. “That catty girl scene was interesting to watch when Ramona said that I had no girlfriends and everyone gave me their dose of therapy,” Frankel wrote regarding Ramona Singer’s comments following the birthday ordeal.
While Frankel is adamant that she has plenty of friends, Thomson might be over trying to play nice with her Real Housewives of New York co-star. “Unfortunately, things took a turn rather quickly after Bethenny’s arrival,” Thomson wrote on her blog regarding the birthday incident.”While you can be sure that I am over Bethenny’s rules, deliveries, and rude behavior, in dealing with her at this point, my own attitude has become harsh.”
However, Thomson did admit that she is willing to try and work things out despite the difficulties that remain. “I can see how upset Bethenny is getting, and I am out of my own skin, so I try to take her aside in an attempt to salvage things privately,” she went on to write.
The feud between the two ladies has gotten so bad, that some of the other castmembers are getting involved by accusing Bravo of letting Bethenny have control over how the episodes are edited.
Bravo boss Andy Cohen was quick to point out that Bethenny has ‘no warning’ over any of the content, even when she ‘acts like a beast.’
“She gets the episode when everyone else does,” Cohen told Page Six . “We send the Housewives the episodes the week before. She has absolutely no say. I’ve said to [Bethenny] this season, ‘Oh, you’re not going to like X, Y or Z. You look like a beast!’ But she has nothing to do with editing, she has no knowledge of what’s going to be in the episodes, she has no warning.”
Real Housewives of New York airs Tuesday nights on Bravo.
