Kylie Jenner is still adjusting to her father’s transition from living a lie as Bruce Jenner to embracing her true self as Caitlyn Jenner, and one of her friends isn’t making it any easier for her — Chris Brown recently poked fun at Caitlyn, and Kylie was disgusted by his actions. Luckily, Kylie’s rumored boyfriend isn’t being so insensitive and cruel, and perhaps Tyga will encourage his collaborator to be less of a jerk to the people he cares about.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Kylie Jenner got upset after Chris Brown reposted an Instagram meme referring to Caitlyn Jenner as a “science project.” Chris later deleted the transphobic post, but only after Kylie called him out for it.
“Not very nice to say about your friends dad,” the teen reality star wrote.
According to Hollywood Life , Tyga was probably not impressed with Breezy’s actions — the 25-year-old rapper has allegedly been “very protective” of his 17-year-old girlfriend ever since Caitlyn Jenner made her big debut.
“This kind of highlights is how awesome Tyga has been through all of this,” an insider told Hollywood Life . “He’s been so supportive of Kylie and her dad, he’s never made one ignorant comment or anything, he’s just been so cool and so positive. It’s made Kylie love him that much more.”
Caitlyn Jenner might not appreciate Chris Brown’s cruel post, but she should be happy that her daughter is standing up for her. According to PEOPLE , Caitlyn recently confessed her fear that Kylie was shutting her out.
“She’s having a hard time dealing with this,” Caitlyn said during a recent episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians . “I do everything I can to try to stay in touch but she doesn’t want to talk about it… My big concern is just that we’ve had such a close relationship for so many years and my kids are everything to me…. I don’t want her to go away, emotionally.”
Kylie Jenner’s defense of Caitlyn Jenner could be seen as a sign that she’s finally starting to embrace her. It also looks like the teen is totally over the media circus surrounding her father’s big Vanity Fair reveal — Kylie is back to showing skin on Instagram. According to E! News , she recently posted a selfie in which she’s wearing a sports bra and a pair of teeny tiny shorts. The point of the picture is seemingly to sell self tanner .
“Love my @CocoaBrownTan from @MarissaCarter when I want a fast tan,” Kylie captioned the photo below. “#SelfTan #CocoaBrown #1HourTan.”
Unfortunately, Kylie chose some pretty terrible lighting for her product promo. As you can see, the light reflection from her mirrored nightstand almost makes it look like she misapplied the self tanner and left weird streaks all over her skin. Maybe she should consider taking selfie lessons from Kim Kardashian.
Are you surprised that Kylie Jenner and Tyga have lasted as long as they have, and do you think that Kylie needs to work on her promotional Instagram posts?
