Kim Richards’ Ex-Husband Denies ‘RHOBH’ Firing
Is Kim Richards really gone from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? On Thursday, Us Weekly reported that Kim won’t be returning as a starring housewife for Season 6. Kim, along with her sister Kyle Richards, has starred on the show since the very first season.
However, according to someone very close to her, it’s not true that she has been fired. On Thursday, Kim’s ex-husband and the father of her oldest child, Monty Brinson, with whom she’s still very close, posted a photo of his dog sleeping in bed. One person asked him if Kim has been fired from the show. Monty not only denied that Kim has been fired but also said that she has been offered roles on two other shows.
“No, like i always tell people don’t believe 90% of what you read. And if she did I would be honest with you cause I have nothing to hide.but this week she got offered 2 new shows if she chooses to.”
Perhaps Kim just hasn’t been given official notification yet? One source told Us Weekly that the show’s producers don’t want Kim anymore.
“The RHOBH producers really have no interest in bringing her back to the show. Kim needs to get help and it needs to happen outside of the show.”
A second source said that Kim needs to resolve her addiction issues first.
“There’s no interest in putting her back on television unless she’s addressed her issues. The show didn’t trigger her addiction — and her recovery also needs to happen outside of it.”
This isn’t the first time that Monty has spoken out on Kim in recent days. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Monty wrote in another Instagram post that Kim “sounds great.” He said that Kim has been offered two shows from NBC and is even writing a book. By the way, Monty described it, the book will be a tell-all that will finally tell the truth.
“She already is [in rehab]. She’s sounds great. People are pouring so much love to her. She’s even got two shows from NBC that they want her to star in. And finally with her 3 book deal everyone will know the truth. She has so much support from everyone. People make mistakes and the ones who turn their backs on you shouldn’t be in your life during the good times. And to make one thing clear she went back to rehab on her own that shows how strong and determined she is. 90 per cent what you read is not true but I’m happy for her to finally tell the truth and not afraid of what anyone thinks. She’s tired of being thrown under the bus and has no problem with whom it may hurt. Truth shall set you free.”
Was Monty’s comment about the ones who turn their backs on Kim Richards and Kim being thrown under the bus a reference to Kyle Richards? After filming the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 5, the two didn’t speak for months. At the reunion show, they ended up screaming and hurling accusations at one another, yet Kyle did attend Kim’s daughter’s wedding in Cabo. Upon her return to Beverly Hills, Kyle admitted that she has had no contact with Kim since the wedding but that they’re good.
