Mitchelle Blair Outburst In Court: ‘I Killed My Kids Since Everyone Wants To Know’
Mitchelle Blair is back in the news again after a shocking outburst got her removed from court during a trial to determine whether she is fit for custody of her surviving children.
The mother of four is already facing charges of murder, torture, and child abuse after authorities arrested her March 24. Court deputies went to her apartment to serve an eviction notice and found the bodies of Stoni Blair, 13, and Stephen Berry, 9, in her deep freezer.
According to a report from the Associated Press, the siblings were thought to have died “months apart in 2012 and 2013.”
Mitchelle Blair has an 8-year-old son and a 17-year-old daughter who survived, but they, too, were allegedly victims of the abuse, prosecutors charge.
On Thursday, Blair gave those same prosecutors some additional ammunition to put her away. During the shocking outburst, she had this to say.
“Everybody wants to know. Yes, I did kill her,” she said referencing her daughter Stoni.
She also refuted video testimony from her 8-year-old in which he said that he witnessed his brother’s death. That was impossible, according to Blair, and the boy couldn’t have seen her kill Stephen “’cause it was unintentional.”
During the 8-year-old’s testimony, he told authorities that his mother had whipped him with a chord and hit his 17-year-old sister with a hammer.
Today’s reaction wasn’t the first time that Mitchelle Blair had to be removed from the courtroom. In a previous report from the Inquisitr, she was taken out of the courtroom for verbally abusing one of the fathers of her children.
In that report, the court was discussing visitation options between her two surviving children and their two fathers. The state is currently trying to end Blair and both fathers’ parental rights to the surviving children.
Mitchelle could not contain herself and uttered an expletive, and then she turned her angry feelings toward one of the fathers, Alexander Dorsey.
Dorsey was seated nearby as Blair cried out, “How many birthdays did you miss? He has never been there.”
She had more to say about both fathers, including a stunning accusation which ultimately led to her untimely removal from the courtroom, according to the Detroit Press.
“Supervised visits! They didn’t give a [expletive] about visiting! They were raping my kids!”
Wayne County juvenile court had Blair removed by two court deputies because of the outburst, but she was allowed to come back in a short time later.
