RHOBH producers are done with Kim Richards. Although there have been conflicting reports, some claiming Richards was fired, others claiming she will appear in a guest role during season six, and even more alleging she quit, a new report claims it was RHOBH producers who ultimately booted her from the show.
On June 4, a source revealed the following to Us Weekly.
“The RHOBH producers really have no interest in bringing her back to the show. Kim needs to get help and it needs to happen outside of the show.”
In mid-April, Richards was arrested at the Beverly Hills Hotel’s Polo Lounge after relapsing on wine months prior. During her arrest, the reality star reported kicked a police officer, and was dealt a number of charges, including public intoxication, trespassing, resisting an officer and battery on an officer.
At the time, RHOBH producers stayed silent, and fans wondered if Richards’ relapse would cost her the show. However, after she came clean about her relapse, telling Dr. Phil she also used prescription pills and smoked pot, she entered treatment, and her contract with Bravo appeared to be intact. Then, weeks later, Richards left rehab and failed to return by her deadline. After missing her scheduled reentry, Richards’ Mexican vacation continued, and those around her appeared unaware of her whereabouts until Monday, when she returned to Los Angeles and entered a different treatment facility.
Despite the fact that Richards is reportedly still in treatment, RHOBH producers have made up their mind, and feel her part on the show isn’t the best thing for her, or for the network.
“There’s no interest in putting her back on television unless she’s addressed her issues. The show didn’t trigger her addiction — and her recovery also needs to happen outside of it.”
Although RHOBH producers didn’t release a statement regarding the future of the troubled star’s sister, Kyle Richards, the magazine said she was expected to return to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for Season 6.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Kyle was said to be on the verge of losing her gig with Bravo just one day ago. According to a Radar Online report on June 3, a source claimed Kyle was put on the “chopping block” by RHOBH producers, who felt it made sense to get rid of her now that her sister won’t be appearing on the show.
RHOBH producers “have been wanting to get rid of one, if not both, of the sisters for some time.”
