Brooks Ayers Faked Cancer Diagnosis? Find Out What Meghan King Edmonds Thinks
Could Brooks Ayers be faking his cancer diagnosis? Although both he and his girlfriend, Vicki Gunvalson, have been vocal about his struggles with the disease, the couple’s newest Real Housewives of Orange County co-star, Meghan King Edmonds, has her doubts about the diagnosis, and isn’t afraid to speak out about her thoughts.
During an interview with Perez Hilton on June 4, Edmonds explains her thought process behind her questioning Brooks Ayers’ diagnosis.
“With my personal family situation, my step-daughter’s mom is dying of cancer currently, so I have an invested interest in cancer and cancer treatments, and so, of course, I was interested in what [Brooks Ayers]’s treatment plans were and what he was doing and I really thought I would find an ally.”
Brooks Ayers has been dating Gunvalson for the past couple of seasons of The Real Housewives of Orange County, and ever since he made his reality television debut, fans and stars of the show have doubted his intentions. During Seasons 8 and 9 of the Bravo reality series, Gunvalson’s daughter, Briana Culberson, as well as her one-time best friend, Tamra Barney, were extremely vocal about their dislike of Brooks Ayers.
Continuing on to Perez Hilton, Edmonds claimed she wasn’t alone in her question of Brooks Ayers’ cancer diagnosis, although she did not disclose which of her other co-stars were also unsure of his claims.
“As time goes on, you are going to see I’m not the only one making these questions. I didn’t go into meeting [Brooks Ayers] and Vicki with that idea at all. I had a completely clean slate, and I think that’s only fair that you can only give everyone a chance to get to know them as you, personally. I don’t really know [Brooks Ayers] that well. I really don’t, but you are going to see some questioning about the cancer, and it’s not just me.”
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Brooks Ayers claims to have been diagnosed with Stage 3 Non-Hodgkin lymphoma in the fall of 2013. Over a year later, he spoke to Radar Online about his diagnosis, claiming he is often very sick.
“I am sick. I do feel bad, but it’s mind over matter a lot of times. You gotta stay the course.”
