Kaia Gerber: Miranda Kerr Inspired Kaia’s Mom, Cindy Crawford, Who Shares Low-Carb Diet And Fitness [Photos]
Kaia Gerber used Miranda Kerr for inspiration as her model mother Cindy Crawford posed her 13-year-old daughter for an ultra-chic fashion shoot. And at 49, Crawford is making it clear that she’s thrilled with Kaia’s beauty, reported E News.
However, Cindy also credited Kerr for giving them the idea for the pose, which she posted on Instagram.

“Straight from my #shelfie…Love this picture I snapped of @kaiagerber. Fun fact: @mirandakerr was our inspiration!”
From the fuchsia flower to the collared blouse, Kaia’s attire looked age-appropriate after Crawford had carefully arranged her daughter to show off her natural beauty. And this isn’t the first time that Cindy and Gerber have joined forces.
However, rather than Miranda Kerr, the last photo featuring mom and daughter took its inspiration from their similarities. And Crawford joked about the “genes versus jeans” likeness.

For Cindy Crawford, looking fabulous and fit in those jeans isn’t just a matter of good genes, reported Into The Gloss.
The supermodel is devoted to her diet and exercise, and has carefully worked out a schedule so that she has time for Kaia as well as her fitness regime.
“Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays are my usual workout days. I have a trainer come in and we do stairs and weights,” revealed Cindy.

Crawford is primarily a vegetarian, eating a mostly plant-based, low carb diet that eliminates starchy foods such as pasta.
“Diet-wise, I don’t eat crap, and I don’t eat a lot of packaged foods. I could easily be vegetarian, but it’s not practical with my family. I try to be 80 percent good 80 percent of the time.”
Although Cindy sometimes does a three-day cleanse, she avoids crash diets.
“Sometimes I’ll do a cleanse for three days, but I don’t do any of those weird things like, ‘I eat only lychee nuts!’ I drink green tea, but I had to stop drinking as much caffeine as I used to,” admitted Crawford.
And Cindy also revealed that, although she rarely eats red meat, she does eat poultry and fish.
“For lunch I’ll have salad, sometimes with chicken, sometimes without. For dinner we’ll go for sushi, or if we eat at home I’ll try to make a meal like turkey meatballs with pasta, a salad, and a vegetable. I just don’t have the pasta, and the kids don’t have the vegetables or the salad.”
In addition, Crawford is cautious about beverages, drinking mainly water to avoid hidden calories.
Agreeing with Cindy that eating clean and cutting the caffeine are important dietary steps is Kelly Ripa, who is on a high-alkaline cleanse diet, as the Inquisitr reported.
“It’s a very manageable cleanse. It’s very manageable. You’re not hungry. It’s not like … people go, ‘What are you eating? You’re just drinking, you know, a green juice a day?’ No, it’s not like that. You eat,” said Ripa.
