Kyle Richards Fired? Report Claims Bravo Wants Both Sisters Gone

Reality star Kyle Richards might not be part of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast for very much longer.

Radar Online reports that the 46-year-old RHOBH star is “on the chopping block” alongside her sister, Kim.

While it is true that both Kim and Kyle Richards have been featured on the hit Bravo reality series from the very beginning, their time is reportedly coming to an end, according to what an inside source told Radar.

“Execs have been wanting to get rid of one, if not both, of the sisters for some time.”

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Kim Richards has already received the boot and is no longer a regular cast member.

If the reports of Kyle Richards being cut from the cast are true, she at least has a back-up plan that will keep her on the small screen. According to E! Online, Kyle has been developing a scripted series for TV Land that is based on her own life.

Unlike the world’s current viewpoint of Kyle through the lens of reality TV, the untitled TV series is reportedly taking a different approach to telling her story. Set in the 1970s, the TV Land series will focus on Kyle’s childhood — being raised alongside her two sisters by a single mother.

After TV Land confirmed the series development Tuesday, Kyle Richards issued a statement of her own in reference to it in a press release.

“I am extremely excited and proud to be collaborating with such a talented and creative team of John Wells Productions, John Riggi, Warner Bros. Television and TV Land to bring this story to life.”

Since the time period of the main story will take place nearly 40 years in the past, chances are that Kyle Richards will not make many regular appearances on the show as herself. However, working alongside such TV series powerhouses as John Riggi and John Wells will definitely keep her busy behind the scenes.

Whether or not Kyle Richards will stay on-board as one of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has not been confirmed yet. However, her TV Land series could potentially open brand new doors of opportunity for the reality star in the near future.
