Kim Kardashian’s New Baby Will Only Know Bruce Jenner — A.K.A. Caitlyn Jenner — As A Woman

So Bruce Jenner, who promised she would not be Keeping Up With the Kardashians by choosing a female name starting with the letter “k,” has renamed herself Caitlyn Jenner. Does anyone else think that’s hilarious? In her name choice, it seems she is giving a refreshingly humorous nod back to the Kardashians in her family — Kris, Khloe, Kim, Kourtney, Kendall, and Kylie.

News just broke regarding Kim Kardashian’s long struggle with infertility. She is pregnant! Kim and husband Kanye West will finally be providing a sibling (or two?) for daughter North West, affectionately referred to as Nori. One thing that will make new baby Kardashian different from the rest of the family is the fact that he, or she, will never know Caitlyn Jenner as a man. This child will not have memories of Bruce, but will simply only know Caitlyn. It boggles the mind.

Caitlyn Jenner may have not yet thought of this scenario, with the whirlwind of media her transition is inspiring, and the newness of Kim’s announcement. Will Caitlyn have a special relationship with the baby for this reason? Though she has a lot of support from family as well as fans, Caitlyn Jenner might certainly have found the transition period stressful. The new addition to the Kardashian/West/Jenner family will be the only person so far to have no transition issues with Caitlyn. She will simply be Grandma to the little bundle of joy.

According to the New York Daily News,Caitlyn Jenner may be welcoming two such grandchildren in the near future. A source claims that Kim could be carrying twins.

“Kim has told a handful of people that she had in vitro and that two eggs were fertilized. She is waiting to see if they both ‘stick’ before she makes any kind of announcement. She has to wait and see if they are both OK. And she is waiting to get an OK from her doctor that both the fertilized eggs are healthy.”

Making her debut as a woman this week, Caitlyn Jenner chose to spotlight her new gender on the cover ofVanity Fair.
