Heather Thomson Backlash In Bethenny Frankel Comparison: Fans Are Angry

Heather Thomson may have been on The Real Housewives of New York for a few seasons now, but she is just learning who Bethenny Frankel is, and their interactions don’t seem to sit well with her. It is no secret that Heather and Bethenny have not been getting along during the first couple of episodes. Thomson feels that Frankel is abrasive and mean, while her co-star may feel that Heather pays attention to too many details and obsesses over the wrong things.

On last night’s episode of the show, Heather Thomson said that everyone has issues, not just Bethenny, who is dealing with her childhood trauma. The comment may have come off a little differently than she wanted to, and now, the show’s viewers are not pleased with her.

According to a new tweet, Heather Thomson is now revealing that she wasn’t attacking or downplaying Bethenny Frankel’s personal issues, but rather pointing out that she also had some issues during her childhood. However, the comment didn’t sit well with Luann de Lesseps and the Real Housewives of New York viewers. After Thomson tried to set the record straight with a tweet, fans of the show reacted.

“I wasn’t comparing one prob w/another.. my point was that everyone has diff issues & at anytime they can be less or they can be more #RHONY,” Heather Thomson revealed on Twitter last night as the episode was airing.

It sounds like Heather wanted to set the record straight and explain her behavior, when she compared Bethenny‘s childhood trauma to her own, which included her losing her nanny when she was young. But many people felt that she was back-peddling a bit and fans of the show had some reactions to her behavior.

“No you weren’t”

“Very rude and callous of you. There is a reason you are the least favorite next to Kristen…”

“I understood what you were saying but your comparison was completely off. Like 100% off”

“yeah no. You said it was the major problem/ change of your life!!!”

“losing a nanny is not an issue. So pretentious,” were just some of the reactions to Heather’s tweet.

According to the Inquisitr, Luann de Lesseps did think that Heather Thomson was wrong in her comment. And Thomson’s frustrations seemed to grow bigger over dinner, as both she and Frankel were left in tears.
