Bob Saget On Olsen Twins’ Decision: ‘I’m Not Really Surprised’
Actor Bob Saget opened up recently about Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen deciding to not be involved with the Full House reunion and spin-off series.
Us Weekly reports that the 59-year-old actor spoke about the hot topic at the red carpet premiere of the highly-anticipated movie, Entourage.

When it comes to his thoughts on the Olsen twins’ decision, Bob Saget apparently feels the way that the average father would feel – even if they only play a father on TV.
“I’m not really surprised. I love them. I want them to be happy.”
Some might assume that not being able to have the Olsen twins rejoining the Tanner family as grown-up Michelle would be tough for the man that played father Danny Tanner to handle. However, Bob Saget is apparently satisfied with just being able to have a relationship with the Olsen twins in the real-world.
“I’ll see them in New York. We’re friends. People need to do what they want to do. They’re very busy in their world that has nothing to do with being on Fuller House.”
Saget also opened up about the Olsen twins in an interview with USA Today. Saget decided to not intervene and try to convince Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen to change their minds and reconsider the chance to reunite with the Full House cast. On the contrary, the former America’s Funniest Home Videos host has apparently decided to do nothing about it at all.
“I see them and I love them and I’ll have dinner with them or something, but it’s like asking your date, ‘Please do this with me, you’ve gotta come back.’…. But, no, I don’t try to convince anybody to do anything. People need to do what they wanna do, because life can be weird enough.”
Saget compared it to dragging a family to a family reunion even though they might not want to reunite with a distant cousin. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen decided not to reprise their role as Michelle Tanner for Fuller House in order to focus on their other business endeavors.
Like Bob Saget, Full House star John Stamos also went public with his feelings on the Olsen twins’ decision by wishing them the best on Twitter.

Even though the Olsen twins will not be returning for the Full House reunion, most of the original cast members have already confirmed that they will – including Bob Saget, John Stamos, Dave Coulier, Andrea Barber, Lori Loughlin, and Candace Cameron Bure.
