Rob Kardashian Reacts To Bruce Jenner’s Debut As A Woman Named Caitlyn: ‘Who Is This Woman & Why Do I Care?’

Rob Kardashian was taken by surprise when former Olympian Bruce Jenner made his debut as a woman named Caitlyn. Speaking to Access Hollywood via a June 2 report by Radar Online, Kim Kardashian revealed her brother Rob Kardashian’s reaction to his step-father’s female debut.

“Why are you sending me this? Who is this woman and why do I care?”

At first, Rob Kardashian “had no idea” who the woman on the cover of Vanity Fair was, but once he discovered it was his step-father, Bruce Jenner, he was said to be “charmed.”

“I was like, ‘Rob, that’s Bruce — that’s Caitlyn.’ And he was like, ‘Oh my god, she’s beautiful.'”

Rob Kardashian’s grandmother, Ester Jenner, also reacted to Bruce’s debut as Caitlyn, telling Access Hollywood, “She’s beautiful! I was there last week, well actually, I got home a week and a half ago, and I met Caitlyn. She is … so much more at ease.”

Although Ester is in complete support of her son’s decision to become a female, she has been having a hard time with one issue in particular — his new name.

“I still have to call him Bruce. His father and I named him that … it’s going to be a struggle for me to get used to the change, but happily so. I’m very happy for him — or her!”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Rob Kardashian has been struggling with depression for the last few years and because of his dire mental state, he has kept to himself for the most part. While other family members continue to appear on Keeping Up With The Kardashians and are highly active on social media, Rob Kardashian’s public appearances are few and far between. In fact, he’s been photographed publicly just a few times in the last year.

Although Rob Kardashian continues to hide out, a source recently told OK! Magazine he’s doing his best to get back to the man he once was.

“[Rob Kardashian]’s a proud guy, it’s taken his months to get into gear but now he’s stopped wallowing in self-pity and given himself the kick-start he desperately needed to. [Rob Kardashian]’s up every morning hitting the treadmill and going easy on his diet at long last.”
