Caitlyn Jenner Insists Kris Jenner Knew About Hormone Use, Women’s Clothing, Breast Growth, And Dishes On Why Their Marriage Broke Down
Caitlyn Jenner insists that ex-wife Kris Jenner knew about her dressing in women’s clothes and using female hormones long before Kris says she was aware of these matters. The pair clearly disagrees on many matters regarding Bruce’s transgender journey to become Caitlyn, among other matters in their marriage. The pair have two children together, teens Kendall and Kyle, but separated in 2013, according to the Mirror. There are four main matters on which the prior spouses are said to disagree, Vanity Fair magazine cover star Caitlyn states, according to Us Weekly.
Caitlyn insists that the momager head of the Kardashian clan knew of her hormone use at their first meeting in 1990. Caitlyn finds it difficult to believe that Kris was unaware of her gender struggle because she insists that she told Kris that she used hormones in the late 1980s until they met. But Caitlyn did note that maybe she didn’t indicate to Kris that this is not a passing fancy — that, instead, her gender identity is something that she can’t get away from, that it’s truly part of who she is. Kris, instead, stated the following, according to Us Weekly.
“When I met Bruce, he told me that he had done hormones back in the early 80s. This was a conversation that took place in the early 90s. So, what he was telling me happened a decade earlier, and he never really explained it.”
Caitlyn stated that when she met Kris as Bruce, Bruce was a “good solid B cup.” And it was stated that breast size doesn’t decrease after using hormones. Kris’s recollection is quite different, and she stated that Bruce had a “little bit of a man boob situation, [but] no B cup going on.”
As far as dressing in women’s clothing, Caitlyn indicated she did dress in women’s clothing in front of Kris. But eventually Kris set rules, according to Caitlyn, that women’s clothes were only to be worn when Bruce traveled, but not at home. However, Kris stated that Bruce never wore women’s clothes in front of her, but stated “[a] few times I would see a suitcase or things lying around the house.” According to Us Weekly, Kris stated the following.
“There wasn’t a gender issue. Nobody mentioned a gender issue. Somebody mentioned that [he] at one point in his life liked to dress up.”
The two married after a seven-month whirlwind romance in 1991. Caitlyn believes at first, Kris needed for financial support and, later, after Keeping Up with the Kardashians became a hit and Kris didn’t count on him financially, Caitlyn believes the relationship changed and that Kris was less tolerant and that would upset Bruce. Then the relationship fell apart, and Caitlyn stated the following, according to Us Weekly.
“The first 15 years I felt she needed me more because I was the breadwinner… Then really around the show, when that hit and she was running this whole show and getting credit for it and she had her own money, she didn’t need me as much from that standpoint. The relationship was different. I think in a lot of ways she became less tolerant of me. Then I’d get upset and the whole relationship kind of fizzled… A lot of times she wasn’t very nice. People would see how I got mistreated. She controlled the money… all that kind of stuff… Twenty percent was gender and 80 percent was the way I was treated [regarding why the marriage ended].”
Kris, however, believes that Caitlyn was angry and struggled from social anxiety during the final years of their marriage, and that the marriage ended because of the gender identity issues, according to the Mirror. Kris noted that they weren’t explained to her until after the marriage ended, and she stated the following, as reported in Us Weekly.
“He was married to me and he wasn’t who he wanted to be so he was miserable… All I was doing was working very hard for my family so that we could all have a wonderful future, and he was pissed off… At the end of my relationship with Bruce he definitely had a lot of social anxiety… That was one of the reasons we were in a struggle at the end. We fought a lot because we would go out together and before we got to the end of the block we were in a fight because he started saying, ‘When can we go home?’… Why would you want to be married and have kids if this is what you wanted since you were a little boy? Why would you not explain this all to me?”
According to an article in the Inquisitr, Kris tweeted support of Kendall Jenner in a Calvin Klein ad and in defense of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West — but ignored the Vanity Fair debut of Caitlin Jenner. Apparently, Kris and Caitlyn are on a different page for now. Time will tell if fences can be mended.
