Kaitlyn Bristowe Slept With Nick Viall Before ‘The Bachelorette’ Started Filming? L.A. Hookup Rumors Surface
Nick Viall’s relationship with Kaitlyn Bristowe before The Bachelorette started filming may give him an unfair advantage over the guys who remain when he joins the show on June 8. While Kaitlyn has admitted to having sex mid-season, there is speculation that she may have done the horizontal mambo with Nick back in February when he was in L.A.
Long before word got out that Kaitlyn would be the next Bachelorette, Nick made it clear that he was interested in the 29-year-old dance instructor. When Bachelor Chris Soules sent her home after their fantasy suite date, Nick tweeted “Kaitlyn is the total package. She will be just fine.”
He continued to gush over her, and then wrangled his way onto the show, all while having a rather secretive off-air relationship with Kaitlyn. Did they sleep together prior to filming, and did Kaitlyn know he was going to join the cast?
Nick and Kaitlyn were reportedly communicating “all the time” after she was eliminated on the Bachelor. According to Reality Steve, they used Facetime, email, and texts to stay in touch, but his sources say they never met in person.
However, Nick took a trip to L.A. in February at the same time that Kaitlyn was preparing to film the Bachelorette. There were rumors that he was there to rekindle his relationship with Andi Dorfman, but there is speculation that he was meeting with the show’s producers and snuck in some alone time with Kaitlyn.
On Week 4 of the Bachelorette(June 8), Kaitlyn and her guys head to New York City. Previews show that when Nick shows up, Kaitlyn looks shocked to see him — but they made out immediately, something that hints that they were already quite familiar with each other.
“Kaitlyn couldn’t possibly have been that surprised when she saw him in NY. And the fact they made out on Chelsea Piers pretty much should tell you all you need to know about their ‘relationship’ prior to the show.”
When she tells some of her remaining guys that Nick asked her if he could come on the show, Kaitlyn downplays her relationship with him, stating that she only corresponded with him a few times.
The Season 11 preview (video below) also shows Kaitlyn admitting to the guys that she had sex with Nick. According to Reality Steve, that was just careful editing by producers — the clip is from an ITM where she makes the confession, but the guys didn’t actually find out until the show aired.
Nick’s arrival on the show will be a game changer for sure, with spoilers indicating that he makes it to the final two.
