Only two teams remain after the entire 2015 NBA Playoffs have gone through their time and whittled down the field. LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers are set to take on Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors in the 2015 NBA Finals, and you need to know how to watch. Here is the full television schedule for the entire series that officially begins on June 4, 2015.
Every single game of the 2015 NBA Finals will air live on ABC, and there will be at least four as it’s a best-of-seven competition. The Warriors will be able to start out at home and can have as many as four home games while the Cavs will get up to three.
The schedule is in place, and the 2014-2015 NBA season is down to its final seven games, but it may end up being only four.
All times below are Eastern and * = if necessary
Game 1 – June 4: Cavaliers at Warriors 9 p.m. on ABC
Game 2 – June 7: Cavaliers at Warriors 8 p.m. on ABC
Game 3 – June 9: Warriors at Cavaliers 9 p.m. on ABC
Game 4 – June 11: Warriors at Cavaliers 9 p.m. on ABC
Game 5* – June 14: Cavaliers at Warriors 8 p.m. on ABC
Game 6* – June 16: Warriors at Cavaliers 9 p.m. on ABC
Game 7* – June 19: Cavaliers at Warriors 9 p.m. on ABC
It’s going to be an interesting series that sees LeBron James taking the Cavaliers (53-29) to the NBA Finals in his first season back in Cleveland. The Golden State Warriors (67-15) are led by MVP Stephen Curry, and they had the best regular season record this year.
Some believe that there could be distractions for the Warriors as it was just announced the assistance coach Alvin Gentry will be leaving to be the head coach of the New Orleans Pelicans. He will remain with the team through the NBA Finals, but it’s still a big loss.
“I’m truly honored for the opportunity to lead the Pelicans as their head coach and am anxious to get started,” Gentry said in a statement. “However, my responsibilities with the Pelicans will begin immediately after the NBA Finals are completed. Until then, my complete focus for the next two-plus weeks will be with the Warriors and the NBA Finals.”
This is actually the match-up that NBA fans have been waiting for all season, and it’s mostly due to Curry and James. Two of the best players in the entire league are facing off against one another for the championship, and it has every possibility of going seven games.
LeBron when asked how do you slow down Steph Curry: “The same way you slow me down… You can’t.”
