Miley Cyrus And Ex, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Avoid Each Other After Showing Up At The Same Party

Miley Cyrus bumped into her ex, Patrick Schwarzenegger, at a party this weekend, but the former couple apparently agree the best course of action was to simply avoid each other.

Miley and Patrick showed up to the Blind Dragon for the birthday party in honor of Bootsy Bellows-owner Markus Molinari. Onlookers said Miley and Patrick were less than thrilled to see each other.

A source told Us Weekly that Miley and her ex decided to avoid each other, saying Miley spent most of the night hanging out with singer Katy Perry.

“Patrick and Miley didn’t interact. He didn’t say a word to her,” the source said.

Miley and Patrick had quite a messy breakup in April. After dating for several months, the couple was surrounded by growing rumors of fighting and infidelity. Patrick sparked the conflict after he was photographed getting very close with a bikini-wearing girl while he was on spring break in Mexico.

Schwarzenegger denied that anything happened with the girl, who is reportedly the girlfriend of one of his close friends, but the incident reportedly caused a rift between Miley and Patrick.

“The Mexico scandal did serious damage,” a source told Us Weekly at the time.

Though the couple didn’t officially break up at the time, the rumors of trouble only continue to build. Not long after Patrick’s scandal, Miley was seen with a mystery man, and OK! Magazine reported that the “Wrecking Ball” singer decided to get even with Patrick by cheating with an unnamed man.

Several onlookers said they saw Miley making out with someone at the Laugh Factory, where she was watching friend Dane Cook perform.

“She was sitting on this dark-haired guy’s lap, and throughout the evening she kept kissing his neck,” a witness said. “They were also feeding each other bites of a grilled cheese sandwich and giggling.”

To make matters worse, the Laugh Factory sighting came just days after Patrick reportedly told Miley that he couldn’t live without her.

“He basically told Miley he couldn’t live without her,” a source told Hollywood Life. Patrick added “that she had his heart completely and that she was his soulmate. He’s been absolutely miserable about her.”

The couple didn’t last much longer, officially announcing their breakup a few weeks later in April. Now things have apparently grown so bad that Miley and her ex choose to avoid each other when they show up at the same parties.
