Paris Jackson stepped out alongside her new boyfriend to catch a theater presentation this week. The teen stunned the world, looking radiant and happy with Chester Castellaw.
For most, this would be just another day, but for the daughter of Michael Jackson , this was one of the first times anyone has seen her in public and in good spirits. Her father passed away when she was 11-years-old, and she has struggled with depression for years, having attempted suicide in 2013.
The children of the King of Pop, Paris, Prince, and Blanket, were all kept hidden, wearing masks in public to hide their identities. According to Metro , 17-year-old Paris has said that she felt confused about the secrecy her father imposed on the three, but added that “I understand it now, why my dad would want our face to be covered. Like when we went out without him we wouldn’t be [recognized], we could have a normal childhood.”

Paris Jackson, stepping out and looking happier now, seems to be adjusting to the limelight rather well. She isn’t planning on hiding anymore, it seems, as she is set to play the titular role in 2017’s Lundon’s Bridge and the Three Keys .
This past week, Paris and Real So Cal youth soccer club player Chester Castellaw hit a different kind of theater. The two were seen at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills to catch the Broadway showing of Deaf West Theater’s Spring Awakening .
Deaf West Theater not only performs the play in spoken English, but also has a team using sign language for the hearing impaired.
Another theater-goer told People Magazine about the couple.
“They stood around the lobby for a little bit chatting with friends before heading into the show at [seven].”
After the show, Paris raved about the performance, saying she “loved the show.”
It’s good to see Paris Jackson stepping out and looking healthy and happy. Her friends, family, and fans all hope this is the first step of many into a brighter future.
