Corey Simms’ Parents Vacation In Hawaii As He & Wife Miranda Ignore Leah Messer’s Rehab Drama

Corey Simms’ parents, Jeff and Joletta Simms, are currently in Hawaii enjoying what appears to be a relaxing vacation.

Since arriving in Oahu earlier this week, Jeff has shared a number of photos, none of which include his son — or his son’s children. As fans of Teen Mom 2 have surely heard, Corey Simms’ ex-wife, Leah Messer, has been making headlines in recent weeks for her allegedly impending divorce and reported drug use.

In his latest photo, shared on Instagram on May 28, Jeff gave fans a look at a Hawaiian sunset. In a second post, he shared a photo of his wife, who had two flowers in her hair.

Corey Simms, meanwhile, along with wife Miranda, have stayed silent on their social media accounts, choosing not to involve themselves in Messer’s ongoing drama, which continues to play out in the press as filming on Teen Mom 2 Season 6 remains in production.

In addition to Messer’s alleged rehab stay, which began earlier this month, which was encouraged by MTV, the reality star is said to be on the verge of divorce. Last year, multiple reports surfaced, claiming both she and second husband Jeremy Calvert had engaged in affairs.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Messer’s mother took to Facebook weeks ago, slamming rehab reports, and informing fans she was completely against drug use. Below is what she wrote.

“TRUE FANS listen up. Leah is NOT going to rehab lol. This is Momma Dawn and I 100% ASSURE you that Leah is NOT going to a DRUG REHAB. Lots of LOVE to the true fans. all will come out on the upcoming show about Leah Dawn Calvert, Jeremy, Corey,Miranda, and the babies. But rest assure I HATE drugs don’t want association with them and wouldn’t NEVER Condone them.”

Corey Simms divorced Messer in 2011 after she admitted to sleeping with her ex-boyfriend behind his back (ironically, the man she slept with, Robbie Kidd, is the same man Calvert accused her of cheating on him with in October of last year). Months later, he began dating Miranda Patterson, and in June of 2013, the couple tied the knot.

Adding to Messer’s heartache is the fact that her first husband is now starting a family with Miranda, who is due to have her first child in January of next year.

The Ashley’s Reality Roundup confirmed the news of Corey Simms’ wife’s pregnancy last week.

Corey Simms and his family will return to MTV on July 9 in Teen Mom 2 Season 6.
