WWE News: Sheamus Lands Huge Role In ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ Sequel — Check Out Pics Of Him As Rocksteady
Usually, Sheamus is slamming his fist on his chest and then slamming opponents to the mat inside of WWE rings. Now, he’s going to take on a different persona, as he will be playing a serious role on the big screen. Sheamus has been confirmed to take on the part of the villainous Rocksteady in the sequel for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
The Daily Mail brought forth some images from the filming of the sequel as it was being shot in New York, and there were some interesting looks. Brian Tee was on set as Shredder, and the recently cast Gary Anthony Williams was on set as Bebop.
Now though, Sheamus joined the shoot for Ninja Turtles 2 and is there as Rocksteady. Yes, Williams and Sheamus are playing the live roles of a humanoid warthog and rhinoceros that are pure villains.
As you can see, there are some slight differences to Bebop and Rocksteady for the live-action version of the Ninja Turtles. The animated series had them as human-like, but they were still upright-walking animals.
Now, Sheamus looks a tad different as Rocksteady than the version from the animated TV series did. In the live-action film, he’s going to have hair and, well, he has no real similar qualities to a rhino.
Gary Anthony Williams actually resembles Bebop a lot more than Sheamus does Rocksteady. You can see the traditional purple mohawk, the nose ring, and even the leather pants.
Maybe Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 will see human Bebop and Rocksteady turned into a mutant warthog and rhinoceros in the film, but that remains to be seen. In the animated series, the villainous henchman of Shredder did start out as human thugs.
The David Green-directed flick is produced by Michael Bay once again, and there isn’t a whole lot known about it at this time. Sure, the cast is in place, but the plot isn’t truly known. It is obvious that more is being brought forth from the animated series, and that is bound to make fans happy.
Bay has been teasing fans on Twitter, and just showcased a few vehicles for the film in the last couple of weeks.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 is set to hit theaters on June 3, 2016, and it stars Megan Fox, Tyler Perry, Stephen Amell, Will Arnett, and many others. Sheamus taking on the role of Rocksteady is a somewhat far cry from his time in WWE, but also similar at the same time.
