Kim and Kanye might have a surrogate carry their second child.
According to Us Weekly , Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are still struggling with fertility issues , and the two are reportedly looking into other methods when it comes to having another baby. While the two were hoping to have some exciting news by now, they aren’t having any luck conceiving, and they are starting to exhaust their options.
“Kim has been undergoing IVF. It’s causing problems with her body,” said a source. Many women know how tough IVF treatments are and how emotional the ups and downs can be.
Just last month, Kim was talking about her struggle with Matt Lauer, and she said that the idea of surrogacy has been brought up to her. It is something that she said she is keeping in mind, but that she and Kanye are still determined to try — at least for now.
“I would like to hold out a little bit longer, and still try. I still have hope, so I’m just going to keep on trying. Never say never. I mean, we haven’t talked about adopting,” Kim said.
If Kim and Kanye have a surrogate carry their baby, it is more than likely that they will use a “gestational carrier,” which means that it will be Kim’s egg and Kanye’s sperm; The baby would be biologically their child genetically speaking.
While Kim has chosen to be open about her struggle to conceive a baby, she has kept a relatively positive attitude about the whole thing. According to Global Grind , Kim recently joked about having sex “500 times a day.” She has also told her sisters that she lays on the bed with her feet up in hopes of keeping her husband’s sperm inside of her. And while she able to laugh about it sometimes, it’s clear that this is very stressful for her and that it has been an emotional roller coaster.
Despite pregnancy rumors, things aren’t getting any better for the couple, and Kim and Kanye don’t have any news to share.
The rapper and the reality star just celebrated their one year wedding anniversary. As previously reported by the Inquisitr , Kim celebrated her anniversary with her fans, sharing a bunch of never-before-seen wedding photos on social media.
Of course, many were thinking (and hoping) that there would be a baby announcement as an anniversary surprise, but there was not.
