Rosie Custody: Michelle Rounds, Rosie O’Donnell Now Fighting Over Baby Pic
Rosie O’Donnell’s custody battle just got weird. According to TMZ, the talk show host and her ex wife, Michelle Rounds, are now fighting over baby pictures. But it’s even more bizarre than that. You see, Michelle took a photo of the couple’s daughter, Dakota. Rosie then posted that photo on Instagram. What happened next is pretty crazy.
“Michelle says the law is crystal clear — she took the pic so she owns the rights to it, and therefore Rosie has no right to post the pic anywhere. Michelle has contacted Instagram, demanding that the pic be scrubbed from the site. So far the company has taken no action.”
The Rosie custody battle has just gotten ugly at this point. Both women are fighting for sole custody of Dakota, 2, but Michelle is really going hard. For starters, Rounds said that she doesn’t want a dime of O’Donnell’s money, and that she will basically “walk away” from the couple’s prenup if she is granted full custody of Dakota. According to Entertainment Tonight, Rounds doesn’t want her baby to stay with a nanny — she wants her baby to stay with her. And she feels as though she can give the little one a “normal life.”
“It makes me feel sad that it has come to this — that Rosie and her publicist feel like they need to do this character assassination. I just want my child to have the best possible environment to grow up in, a normal life. Right now she’s got 24/7 nannies over there at Rosie’s house. I don’t want my child to have a 24/7 nanny. She leaves the baby overnight with nannies, she has the monitor in the nanny’s room.”
“I will walk away from the prenup if Rosie will give me full custody. I made my first million before the age of 39, that was before I met Rosie. I don’t need Rosie’s money. I don’t want Rosie’s money. Nothing was in my name. The prenup money means nothing to me.”
Rosie O’Donnell’s custody battle got even uglier a few weeks ago. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Michelle Rounds was hoping to get Rosie drug tested. She made claims that The View star was drinking “a bottle of wine” every night, and that she smoked pot on a regular basis. Despite what some call a “desperate attempt” to get emergency sole custody of Dakota, a judge did not feel the need to drug test Rosie, and didn’t fall for Michelle’s antics.
It sounds like this is only going to get worse before it gets better, and, unfortunately, there is a little girl at the center of all of this.
