‘The Walking Dead’ and ‘Fear The Walking Dead’ Latest Trailer Details Who Is Running And Why? [Video]
Fans are still anxiously awaiting the series premiere date of AMC’s Fear The Walking Dead, the spinoff series of their wildly popular, The Walking Dead. While news is coming in thick and fast about cast additions, little is really known about this new show past the fact it is based in LA and will feature the outbreak.
But now, AMC has released a teaser trailer that includes both their zombie shows, The Walking Dead and Fear The Walking Dead. While there is new footage, the images flash by pretty quickly, so let’s break it down to what is really going on with the two shows.
The Walking Dead
Most of The Walking Dead clips seem to involve flashbacks to Season 5.
- Michonne (played by Danai Gurira) is pointing a gun at something. She isn’t wearing her recently acquired police outfit but a long-sleeved top. She appears to be outside Alexandria, as there are plenty of trees behind her.
- A flashback to Season 5 of The Walking Dead showing Glenn (Steven Yeun) and Noah (Tyler James Williams) stuck in the revolving doors of death.
- Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) drives by on his motorcycle. Behind him could be the cannery where he and Aaron (Ross Marquand) were ambushed by trucks filled with walkers in the Season 5 finale. Daryl appears to be rugged up quite heavily.
- Another flashback to Season 5 of Daryl Dixon trapped in a car, walkers surrounding him.
- Sasha (Sonequa Martin) spotting something through her gun. It could be another Season 5 moment.
- Carl (Chandler Riggs) smiling while he is walking away from a tree — perhaps the one he and Enid (Katelyn Nacon) hid out in?
- A shaven Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) inside Alexandria wearing his police uniform, potentially another Season 5 flashback.
Fear The Walking Dead
- We have Madison (played by Kim Dickens) walking down a hall. Is she at a school or a hospital?
- Travis (Cliff Curtis) is looking up at something. He seems to be in the dark, and then a light shines on his face from above.
- Someone — Nick (Frank Dillane) perhaps? — running from something. His shirt is open and he is holding up his pants so it appears he was startled. He is running through what appears to be a pretty rundown looking street.
Other AMC shows included in this teaser video include The Walking Dead’s companion talk-back show, Talking Dead, Halt and Catch Fire, The Making of the Mob, Humans, Hell on Wheels, and Into the Badlands.
