Justin Bieber, Diplo Tease ‘Where Are Ü Now’ Video First Look
Justin Bieber filmed a music video for his stunning “Where Are Ü Now” collaboration with Jack Ü’s Skrillex and Diplo on Friday, May 22.
The shoot took place at Siren Studios in Los Angeles. It followed online hints from Bieber and his manager Scooter Braun. Twitter chatter indicates Bieber’s fans are hoping that the video will do justice to the trio’s dance slayer, which is currently killing it on multiple charts and Spotify.
Although Diplo and Skrillex were tagged in video-related tweets posted by Braun, as yet it is unclear whether the EDM titans will appear in the visual. However, based on a Snapchat shared by Diplo from the set yesterday, he was at the shoot.
News that a music video for “Where Are Ü Now” was on its way came on Thursday. Since then, Beliebers have been jonesing for something they can actually see. A few hours after filming kicked off, they got their wish.
Obviously, Team Bieber didn’t give the game away in the sneak peeks, but it appears fans have something amazing to look forward to. On Saturday, Dylan Farella — senior editor of dance music news outlet Dancing Astronaut — tweeted, “‘Where Are Ü Now’ music video looking unreal. (cc @diplo @skrillex @justinbieber).”
