Man Strips Totally Naked In Charlotte-Douglas Airport [Video]

A disgruntled passenger at Charlotte-Douglas International Airport took his anger to another level when he realized his US Airways flight to Jamaica was overbooked. After getting into an argument and yelling at an airline employee about the situation, the man suddenly began stripping off all his clothes until he was standing in the middle of the airport completely naked, reported Fox News.

WCNC TV reveals that the man stripped down in front of everyone, not even concerned about the children around him.

Another traveler, Sherry Ketchie, who just happened to be passing by as the ordeal took place, decided this would be a moment to capture for the world, pulled out her cell phone and began snapping pictures to post on Facebook.

Ketchie describes what she experienced from her perspective to WBTV.

“I seen some people running and I was wondering what they was running from and people were standing there snickering, so I walked over and [an airport employee] told me the man was angry over the Jamaican flight. He had his clothes on, at that point, and then he started standing there with his arms crossed and hollering at the lady at the desk.He stood there for a moment and then started talking off his clothes. I ain’t never seen nothing like that in my life.”

Parents were upset because of what their children were witnessing as the man continued to stand in the buff out in the open.

It took police about an hour to get to the man. No one knows for sure why it took so long for police to arrive when security is so tight at an airport. However, the man continued his stance the entire time until he was finally taken away in handcuffs — the only thing he was wearing.

Police report to WCNC TV that the man was “off his medication” and obviously having an episode. He was not arrested, but instead was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Some witnesses say he was just nuts.
