‘Harry Potter’s’ Neville Beefs Up For Racy Spread, J.K. Rowling Reacts
Neville aka Matthew Lewis from Harry Potter has grown up. There’s even a meme in the Harry Potter’s universe that despite playing a nerdy character for most of the Harry Potter franchise, actor Matthew Lewis has grown out of that awkward phase to transform into a good looking hunk.
For a few years now, fans have been shocked over just how different Lewis looks from when he first started playing Neville Longbottom. Here are a few comparisons for anyone who is out of the loop.

So yes, little Neville has been turning heads for a while now, but a new spread for Attitude magazine focused on Matthew took him to a whole other level that has fans drooling. Here’s a quick look at the photos that everyone is using heart eye emojis over.

Of course, media blogger Perez Hilton got in on the fun too.

That said, there’s one person who isn’t fawning over the heartthrob and that’s Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling. The author, who has seen Matthew Lewis grow up before her eyes, was practically scandalized by the whole thing, and even took to Twitter to post a message about the racy photos of her once sweet Neville Longbottom.
.@Mattdavelewis Not as bad as watching Dan in Equus, but close. Warn me next time, for God’s sake. https://t.co/r8EUd1GKqT

Of course, the Harry Potter author is referencing the Broadway play that Harry Potter himself, Daniel Radcliffe, starred in while in the buff.
.@Mattdavelewis I will always support you whatever you want to do, Matthew. Now go put some clothes on.

.@jasonsfolly @Mattdavelewis I wouldn’t know. I hastily averted my eyes and read an article on Political Correctness to get over the shock.
