Source: Justin Bieber Still Single, Not Dating Jayde Pierce
If you’re shipping Justin Bieber and Brit model Jayde Pierce as Jelena’s successor, stop.
Immediately.
A source close to Bieber has confirmed to Gossip Cop that the singer is not dating Pierce.
The insider told the watchdog website, “He’s [Bieber] still single.”
That short and to the point statement has been made due to recent rumormill attempts to turn Bieber and Pierce’s weekend hike, park stroll, silly Snapchats, a few studio hangouts, and one Facetiming session with Pierce’s cousin into an official courtship.
Among these offenders, MediaTakeOut insisted Pierce is Bieber’s “first real GIRLFRIEND since Selena Gomez.” While over at Hollywood Life, after Justin and Jayde’s FaceTiming call with the cousin, the site claimed the following.
“Things are getting super serious for Justin Bieber and Jayde Pierce. While the pair have yet to confirm their rumored romance, Jayde’s taken their relationship one step further, by introducing JB to her family,” an alleged source told the site. The blog even went so far as to claim recent pics of Pierce and Bieber out and about prompted a “furious” reaction from Gomez.
However, Gossip Cop’s Bieber source couldn’t be any clearer: the Canadian is still single.
That “still” is crucial too. The “Where Are U Now” singer has actually been publicly stating that he is single for months, yet it seems few are listening.
Although Bieber spent a few days with Pierce and — based on pics of the pair — seemed to be having a lot of fun, it’s clear the heartthrob either isn’t ready to, or planning on, dating anyone officially yet.
Can anyone really blame him, given the toxic level of general media attention and tabloid speculation, and the evident intensity of his breakup with his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez?
Following Bieber’s split with Gomez in September, the grapevine sparked with rumors that he was dating model pal Hailey Baldwin after they were constantly seen together from late November.
Amid mounting speculation, Bieber finally took to Instagram in December to issue his first “I’m single” declaration.
“People are crazy. I’m super single and this is my good friend u would know otherwise,” he captioned a black-and-white pic of himself with Baldwin in a car. Baldwin then tweeted her followers, writing, “Hope that clarifies everything for everyone ) rumors are silly!”
After kicking off his comeback at the start of 2015, Bieber has repeated that he is single in various magazine profiles and a sit-down with On Air With Ryan Seacrest back in April.
Fast forward to earlier this month, Baldwin slammed Hollywood Life for fabricating a story claiming she and model pal Kendall Jenner were involved in a sexual, “love triangle” with Bieber.
Just last week, Bieber underlined his single status in an interview with the teen magazine Seventeen.
Revealing the qualities desired in a possible, future girlfriend, the icon explained, “In a girl, I want someone who’s confident in herself and honest.” He added, “I have to find her very attractive and as someone I can see myself with for the rest of my life.”
For the stragglers: Bieber’s camp has unequivocally confirmed that he is single. Gossip Cop adds, “When Bieber does officially have a new girlfriend, he’ll make it known.”
