Tess Holliday: People Magazine Features Plus Size Supermodel Tess Holliday On Cover
Tess Holliday is on the cover of People Magazine for their June issue, and it’s going viral on the internet. According to the Huffington Post, the supermodel signed with MiLK Modeling Agency in January, but hit an all-time career high after landing the cover of one of the most popular magazines in the country.
Tess has been popping up all over the internet lately, and after years of being bullied, she is proving that beautiful really does come in every size. It has taken her over a decade to make a solid name for herself in the world of modeling and fashion, but it looks like she is here to stay — and people seem to love that news.
“She is the face of Torrid’s spring campaign and is responsible for the widely used #effyourbeautystandards hashtag, empowering women to wear whatever they want — regardless of their shape.”

Holliday seems to be having the time of her life, and she is getting tons of attention for her positive message. She has used her rise to fame to let people know that body-shaming is never okay, and that anyone can be whatever they want to be if they just stay focused and work hard. She is always posting super-inspiring messages on social media about living life above the standards, and making her own set of rules when it comes to what is considered “beautiful.”
According to Mail Online, Tess has been featured in Vogue Italy and recently did an ad campaign for Benefit Cosmetics. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, she made headlines back in March when she was featured in bathing suits (and bikinis) for Sea by Monif C. Of course, there was a good amount of controversy that went along with that, but Tess remained positive.
She loved to have the opportunity to model swimsuits, and at the time had said that she really enjoyed the product as much as the opportunity.
“When I’m buying a swimsuit the thing that is most important to me is how I feel in it, if I feel good. It’s great to buy something that may look cute but I want to buy something that makes me feel sexy and I want to feel confident when I’m going out and I want people to stare so you know I want good support, I want fun prints.”
