Kylie Jenner has taken to Instagram to not only share another revealing bathing suit photo, but to fire back at bodyshamers. The 17-year-old posted a racy Instagram photo on Saturday that shows her wearing a black one-piece swimsuit and thigh-high boots as she gets her hair and makeup down.
Jenner captioned the photo: “Behind the scenes,” at first. Later she added, “Yes I gained weight. There, I said it so u don’t have to. [Sic]”
Jenner later deleted the comment that fired back at bodyshamers who have been criticizing’s the teen weight gain .
That hasn’t stopped fans from coming to Kylie’s defense. Some took to her pic to offer her words of encouragement. It inspired more than 50,000 comments on Kylie’s photo, as previously reported via the International Business Times . Kylie’s photo also received over 1 million likes on the popular photo-sharing app.
“You look amazing! Don’t listen to the haters honey.”
“There’s always going to be jealous women trying to drag you down.”
“Keep doing your thing pretty lady @kyliejenner, the rest of the world thinks you’re great.”
“You look better than ever!”
Kylie Jenner already has support from one person: her rumored boyfriend, Tyga , 25. In a vague reported via OK! Magazine , the rapper literally “liked” Jenner’s new bikini photo. The rapper has been caught liking some of her various bikini photos and selfies on the teen’s Instagram account.
Kylie showed off her new curves at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday evening. She wore a gold and black Balmain dress with a wide gold belt.
The teen’s changing appearance has been the topic of many debates lately. Kylie Jenner recently admitted to getting temporary fillers after months of speculation. She previously claimed that she got her infamous pout from over-lining her lips.
Jenner made the reveal on a previous episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians .
“I’m just not ready to talk to reporters about my lips yet because everyone always picks us apart. I want to admit to the lips, but people are so quick to judge me on everything, so I might have tiptoed around the truth, but I didn’t lie.”
Kylie Jenner isn’t the only who’s hit back at bodyshamers on social media. Selena Gomez was the latest victim of bodyshaming due to her weight gain. Like Jenner, the singer shared a photo of herself in a bathing suit with the caption, “There’s more of me to love.”
It turns out that Selena Gomez’s new found confidence comes from Justin Bieber , not from self-love. Hopefully that’s not the case for Kylie Jenner. What are your thoughts on celebs — like Kylie Jenner and Selena Gomez — embracing their curvier bodies on social media? Do you think it makes a good impression on their young fans?
