Rousey, Mayweather Fight: Ronda Rousey Would Never Fight Floyd Mayweather, Unless They Ended Up Dating
Is a Rousey, Mayweather fight in the future? According to Ronda Rousey, it’s never going to happen… unless they ended up dating.
Rousey, the undefeated mixed martial artist, recently sat down with Access Hollywood’s Stephanie Bauer about her upcoming film, Entourage. Bauer took the opportunity to discuss another undefeated athlete, Flody Mayweather. She asked Rousey if she would ever be up to fighting Mayweather in the octagon and if she thought she would be able to “take him down.”
“Mayweather’s undefeated. You’re undefeated. The general thought is, we’d love to see you guys get in the ring. Could you take him down? I know it’ll never happen, but just–” Bauer asked.
“Well, I would never say that I can’t beat anyone, but I don’t think me and him would ever fight,” Rousey replied. “Unless we ended up dating.”

Rousey, who isn’t currently dating, revealed to Bauer the type of man she is looking for. She doesn’t necessarily want a “burly” guy, she insists. Rather, she wants someone who she can come home to and be a girl around.
“Everyone expects that I want these giant, burly guys, and that’s not really the case,” she said. “I don’t come home from the gym and feel like super rough… I want to be a girl when I come home. I want to be taken care of when I get home.”

“Right now, I’m waiting for a tall, dark pediatrician or something, you know,” she said with a laugh. “Something like that.”
Rousey recently appeared naked in ESPN’s Body Issue. As the Inquisitr previously reported, Ronda decided to do the shoot because of a potential threat from an ex-boyfriend, who claimed he was going to release naked pictures of her to the media.
“It’s more of a defensive thing. Writing the book, the whole My Fight/Your Fight thing has really forced me to be introspective and figure out why I do things the way I do. It was because of that one ex, we called him ‘Snappers McCreepy,’ because we caught him taking naked pictures of me. The first thing I did was take naked pictures for ESPN. If it’s going to get out there, then I want it to get out there on my terms.”
