Nicholas Brendon is having trouble with the law. The Buffy the Vampire Slayer actor, arrested again for the third time this year, can’t seem to stay out of trouble.
His latest arrest occurred in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, on Saturday May 16. Brendon was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication and impairment. As the Inquisitr previously reported , this marks the fourth time he has been arrested in the last seven months and the third time this year. Brendon had gone to Myrtle Beach to attend the XCON World , an annual comic convention that was held this year from May 15 to May 17 as a celebrity guest.
Brendon’s series of run-ins with the law started in October of 2014 when he was charged with “malicious injury to property” at a Comic Con event in Boise, Idaho, according to the New York Daily News .
“I intend to seek appropriate treatment and therapy for my medical ailments as well as my emotional demons,” he wrote in a Facebook post following the arrest.
In February, Brendon was arrested for destroying a hotel room in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and refusing to pay his bill. The next month, in March, he was charged, once again, with damage to hotel property and criminal mischief. He was released from the Leon County jail in Tallahassee after posting his $1,000 bond. He reportedly told police that he had taken sleeping pills and “blacked out.”
In April, an arrest warrant was issued after Nicholas failed to submit requested urine samples to authorities. Brendon has repeatedly admitted to having issues with depression and has promised to seek medical help.
Following his arrest on Saturday, Nicholas took to Twitter to comment on the incident.
“We are not releasing any comments or statements regarding today’s events. Thank you,” he tweeted.
He later added a series of photos of himself on the beach, questioning what he is and is not allowed to do.
