Chinx Funeral Info Instagram Statement – Plus Girlfriend Malika Haqq, French Montana, And Jay Z React To Chinx Death
The death of 31-year-old Lionel “Chinx” Pickens sent shockwaves throughout the hip-hop community on Sunday. As reported by the Inquisitr, an Instagram account began to claim responsibility for the shooting of Chinx and his 27-year-old friend, Antar Alziadi. Notably, that Instagram account removed the references to the death of Chinx and stopped claiming responsibility for the tragic death after it was noted that the poster’s location may have been in Sweden or Norway.
However, Rob and Khloe Kardashian reacted on Instagram on the death of Chinx. Both Kardashians posed photos of French Montana’s protege and member of the Coke Boys on Sunday. In the wee hours of Sunday morning, Malika Haqq — the best friend of Khloe often seen on Keeping Up With the Kardashians and rumored girlfriend of Chinx — posted her reaction to the tragic death with a photo of her and Chinx reclining in a boat in the sunlight.
The Forever Malika Instagram account also shared fond words about Chinx approximately 15 hours ago, around 3 a.m. ET on Sunday, May 18, the day the world learned the news of Chinx being shot and killed.
“There may be more beautiful times but this was ours. Forever a light in my heart. Milk loves you [broken heart emoji]”
The Chinx Music Instagram account also posted an update about any funeral information for Chinx approximately 10 hours ago — at 2 a.m. ET on Monday, May 18. They thanked fans for their support of Chinx, asked for privacy, and said to look forward to funeral information.
“To all the fans, and people who have supported Chinx on his journey, on behalf of his family, close friends, and management team, we say, Thank You! Your kind words are appreciated. We ask that the family’s privacy be respected in this time of bereavement. Memorial arrangements will be announced shortly.”
Chinx drove in front of Dunkin’ Donuts and parked after being shot, reports TIME.
French Montana also posted reactions to Chinx’ tragic death, with shoutouts to the homage that Jay Z paid to Chinx during his second Tidal concert on Sunday night, and about his surprise at getting the call that Chinx was dead.
“The devil comes in all shapes and sizes and he’s ruthless. Life here is temporary.
