WWE News Backstage Update On NXT Takeover: Unstoppable, WWE NXT Angle Planned For ‘WWE Raw?’
The WWE is set for a great few weeks of programming coming up. Last night was the WWE Payback pay-per-view and it did not disappoint. Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, and Randy Orton calculated on a 5-star main event. Earlier in the night, Neville and Bad News Barrett also delivered a great spectacle. Lastly, the WWE Tag-Team championship match between the New Day and Cesaro and Tyson Kidd surprised many in the WWE Universe.
Altogether, WWE Payback did pull off a great show, which also got rave reviews on Twitter from the WWE Universe. The excitement isn’t over from the WWE in these next two weeks. First, the NXT Takeover: Unstoppable special is this Wednesday on the WWE Network.
Two big matches will steal the show, along with the NXT Women’s championship match. Kevin Owens will face Sami Zayn for the WWE NXT Heavyweight championship. Finn Balor, Tyler Breeze and Hideo Itami are wrestling for the No.1 contender position for the NXT Heavyweight title. Will they tease anything on WWE Raw? According to Ringside News, a plan was in place for WWE NXT to be on WWE Raw, but the said plans may have been nixed.
“There were rumors last week of a big NXT angle on tonight’s RAW to build to Wednesday’s Takeover: Unstoppable event. There may not be enough time as they’re focusing on promoting Elimination Chamber this week.”
WWE NXT will put on another excellent special. Some WWE fans even think they are better than WWE pay-per-views. This special will have a different feel though. A major-debut is bound to happen at the special, which will change the guard at WWE NXT.
On top of another debut set to happen soon, a WWE NXT rookie called Dylan Mile is set to come up at some point in the near future. Triple H and Brock Lesnar are both high on Mile, who looks very odd, but it’s a unique look. The WWE is very fortunate in their talent. If the WWE NXT superstars make an appearance tonight on WWE Raw, everybody is in for a treat.
All WWE fans desperately want Finn Balor to debut on the WWE main roster. They are still waiting in anticipation for him to challenge John Cena for the United States championship. As soon as that happens, the WWE Universe will explode. With the Elimination Chamber coming soon, a better product will follow. Hopefully, more WWE NXT superstars do too.
