‘Buffy The Vampire Slayer’ Star Nicholas Brendon Arrested For The Third Time This Year
Nicholas Brendon, best known for his role as Xander on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, has been arrested again, according to E! News. This time, Brendon was arrested for public intoxication and impairment at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, on Saturday, which marks the fourth time he’s been arrested in the last seven months and the third time this year. Brendon was in Myrtle Beach as one of the celebrity guests for XCON World, an annual comic convention that took place this year on May 15, 16, and 17.
A rep for Nicholas tweeted on Saturday a statement would not be given regarding his arrest.

Brendon then tweeted a photo of himself on Sunday at the beach and also tweeted his apparent frustration with what some think he shouldn’t be “allowed” to do.
Twatters I love you all. Healing waters of Myrtle Beach. We are all human. pic.twitter.com/N4DyrF4CO5 — Nicholas Brendon (@NicholasBrendon) May 17, 2015

Fans had plenty of words of love and support for the former Buffy star.
@NicholasBrendon One minute, one hour, one day at a time. Sometimes it comes to that. I know. I am there right now. #AlwaysKeepFighting

Nicholas Brendon’s recent series of arrests began in October, 2014, mere days after marrying then-girlfriend Moonda Tee when he was arrested for allegedly damaging property and resisting arrest. Later, after Nicholas and Tee split, Brendon was arrested and charged with felony grand theft in February, 2015, after allegations that he refused to pay a bill at a Florida hotel. In March, 2015, Nicholas was arrested and charged with criminal mischief and property damage at a different Florida hotel.
Brendon has been battling depression for some time now, but only went public back in March. His rep issued a lengthy statement at that time regarding Brendon’s battle with depression.
“This is the first time in his adult life that he is able to admit his troubles publicly, and he wants to do so while seeking the treatment that is best for him… Nicholas’ struggle will go on for years, but he has a strong support system behind him that will guide him through the uphill battle that is chronic depression.”
Nicholas opened up about being sexually abused as a child, telling TMZ, “If something good can come out of this, if I can talk about it and help people out, and change my behavior, that’d be great.”
Nicholas Brendon is still scheduled at this time for future appearances at fan conventions.
